說真的,香港的brunch,認真唔係有太多選擇,離離去去都係egg benedict同big breakfast. 呢間都係D egg on toast咁,我同個friend行到唔想再行所以隨便找一間坐低左。因此太熱,我地都分別叫左detox juice 同mushroom fettuccine. Cranberry Mixed fruits Detox Juice & Grapefriut Detox JuiceMushrrom Fettuccine我地叫呢個意粉的原因其實係因為其他選擇都已經成日食,係屋企都整到,所以叫左一個覺得係算係心理上覺得抵D既意粉食lololol.. 佢用左冬菇同white beech mushroom (好似係靈之菇)去整,其實係ok的,不過我都係唔太建議大家食呢個。

Most of my friends are huge fans of lobsters, and some of them have recommended the lobster roll from Aberdeen Street Social. Last weekend, we decided to give it a try after hanging around PMQ. There was a few people queuing outside. Lobster Roll ($218)

Very different from the lobster rolls I had before which were very buttery, the lobster roll served at Aberdeen Street Social was lobster salad stuffed in a nicely toasted brioche roll, served with crispy fries. The salad was nicely seasoned with onions and capers, tasted refreshing.

Seated comfortably, we ordered the 4-course menu on the night. Starting with Hokkaido scallops, artichoke and sea vegetables. The thinly-sliced scallops was marinated nicely, with some yuzu accompanying to provide refreshing acidity, enhancing the flavors. The artichoke was nicely prepared and seasoned, with the sea vegetable having a crunchy texture contrasting with the scallops. A good appetizer, pairing well with the Sauvignon Blanc Semillon blend from Margaret River.

Then we had the second course, with Ivy going for 63° egg black truffle, trompette mushroom crumb, beef glaze and burnt butter potato, and for me it was smoked eel cured foie gras, spiced orange, puffed rice and unagi sauce. The foie gras was prepared in a very innovative way, to deep freeze under nitrogen so it became shavings. The eel had a nice smoky taste, complemented perfectly with the spiced orange sauce. It was the best dish on the night for me.

On the main course Ivy had Wagyu sirloin burnt onion crust, spinach pudding, grelot onions and Swiss chard, while I went for roasted rack and slow cooked neck of lamb, spiced eggplant, salsify and cavolo nero. To pair I ordered a Cabernet Sauvignon from England, my first red from the country which was quite decent. The lamb was done perfectly on medium rare, very soft and tender, with the eggplant puree adding to the complexity of the flavors. The deep fried cavolo nero was crispy as well.

Dessert was chocolate & peanut bar, cookie crumble and banana ice cream for Ivy, and I opted for carrot cake, yuzu curd, pecan crumble and carrot sorbet. A bit too sweet for my taste, nevertheless it was prepared well with the carrot cake moist and delicious, and sorbet balancing with the right tartness. The ginger crust adding a bit spiciness to the dish, and the pecan crumble the necessary crunchy mouthfeel to make this overall a sophisticated dessert with different elements.
The service was reasonable, with the waitress friendly and attentive, though a bit shy in explaining the dishes. On the price the bill totaled $2,178 including the two set dinner, a bottled water, two glasses of wine, a tea and a coffee. A bit on the high-end in price though considering the atmosphere, food quality and overall satisfaction I would still rate this restaurant as one that I would come back again.
My overall rating is 60/100.

Located at the PMQ, Aberdeen Street Social (“ASS”) has a fine dining area and a more, well, sociable drinking area at the ground floor al fresco area. We choose the fine dining area. The fine dining area was practically empty when we arrived. The fine dining area was lovely and had cool Brit rock playing in the background.

After a while, we noticed a number of tables at the balcony area. We asked to switch tables and that was done without any hassle whatsoever.

We were served with some Nori crackers and a dip with which was mayonnaise mixed with squid ink. The crackers were fine by itself. We found it fairly sour with the dip. The bread was warm and delicious. It was perfect with the smooth and creamy unsalted butter.

The smoked eel with puffed rice was excellent. The last time I had smoked eel was at a famous Japanese restaurant “Kosyu”. Those served here had a pungent smoked taste. The unagi jus on one side tasted just like apple juice and functioned well as a refreshing palate cleaner.

I also liked the grated frozen foie gras with puffed rice and crunchy black and white sesame. This and the smoked eel both had a very rich taste yet the different tastes didn't clash at all. A wonderful dish that I'd recommend.

The quality of the scallops were definitely of good sashimi grade. The young shiso leaves were a really nice touch. Simple and good.

Then came the succulent halibut poached with butter. It was served with peppercorn sauce which tasted just like mustard and the wonderfully fresh and sweet carrot purée.

The colorful assorted carrots that came with the halibut were nice visually and gastronomically.

Pork cheeks:

The Pork cheeks tasted like it had been marinated in sweet soy sauce. It was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. Black pudding, one of my all time favorites, was surprisingly good with our bottle of Italian red. The pork belly was very crispy and flavourful. The grilled salami was similarly interesting and delicious.

After a rather filling assorted pork meal, the sauerkraut to help digesting was really welcomed.

Every dishes that came before was readily identifiable and "does what it says on the tin" - until we reached the "Carrot Cake", which started to get a bit metaphysical. I swear this photo was taken before we started eating. The carrot cake consisted of bits of "orthodox" carrot cake, white chocolate, carrot sorbet and pickled carrots. The carrot sorbet tasted a bit similar to the carrot purée, only colder. It was nice. We enjoyed it.

The service was excellent. The servers were friendly, polite and professional. The sommelier was very passionate and gave us a crash course on "orange" wine, which was literally orange:

It tasted like Riesling mixed with pink champagne. The Riesling was good and the Italian red was on the dry side.



The bill came down to about $1,100 per head with all the food and drinks that we have had. I regard that as reasonable. 

There was a bit of mishap with the smoked eel (I'll spare you the details) but the restaurant sorted it out immediate and without any hassle. We got another plate of smoked eel and were informed afterwards that the dessert was complimentary.

活動期間,每間食府製作3至4道招牌菜式,並以小碟形式奉上,務求讓參加者嚐盡珍餞百味。場內每道菜平均消費為5至12個皇冠代幣 (即$50至120);「招牌菜式」由大約14個皇冠代幣 ($140元) 起。可惜前一天才脫掉智慧齒的甜魔媽媽,暫只能享受流質/軟身食物,故第一站去了 Aberdeen Street Social 選點了 63° Egg and Black Truffle 黑松露63度溫泉蛋 ($120)。

據說 63°是煮雞蛋的最佳溫度,當日的成品的確又香又滑,配上香馥碎黑松露及柔滑牛油馬鈴薯,幽香美味不可方物,吃完齒頰留香忘了牙痛!貴一點也物有所值。

Having said that, I am definitely one of the perfectionist when talking about #foodphotography. You need to get the lighting right, the angle right, the balance of the colours and saturation right that matches your caption to capture the most *like*s. When you have more likes, you have more followers. We all dream to have others to be interested in our repetitive lives, we all long to be a super star in our own little world. *Like*s are something you ensure yourself to be on the right track with others, to have aligned with the social norms. They are given because someone elses agree with you, which can mean a lot. So from time to time, I have also started to pick dining places by judging on whether I can take nice photos that can boost up my popularity in the virtual world, which bought me to Aberdeen Street Social few days ago.

For brunch, I ordered this Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs ($98). I definitely love my avocado to have picked this dish, but also pictured the yolk to be oozing out when I cut through it so I could tag #eggporn in the caption. But I didn't tag anything at the end, and merely posted the photo. The reason being that the taste was really far from what I expected. I wouldn't have thought of such a simple brunch item to be so disappointing, as it was very similar from the version I found in The Cupping Room, and I thought it was a pretty safe option to order. Turned out the egg and was watery, its white was still uncooked and the yolk was so rich as I would have expected. The overall flavour was rather bland together with the very velvety yet tasteless avocado cream. The best part was the toast which was kind of sad because all you could taste in the mouthful was the wheat and seeds.

Looking pretty legit, the Lobster Roll ($218) turned out to be cold. The brioche which was once toasted was no long crunchy, but rather dry and spiritless. The fries were nice and crunchy, but again I wouldn't climb up the hill for them like seriously.

It was a very disappointing brunch after all, but I still posted photos because people like to see nice photos. Contradicting huh? Well it's just how the society works these days isn't it.

restaurant occupies two levels in PMQ including a nice terrace.Went for Sunday brunch and sitting on that terrace. Place was fully booked (luckily we had a reservation). Went for Sunday brunch and sitting on that terrace. Place was fully booked (luckily we had a reservation). Apparently the place is very popular with ExPats, I didn't see a single Hongkonger.

We started with drinks - the mediocre and very small Americano costs a whopping 41 HKD on which they charge 10 service - so 45 HKD for a small coffee. The menu only lists detox juice (for 75 HKD), but they where able to get me some OJ (which I have to admit was good).

For food we ordered the mushrooms on bread on the the berry pancakes.

The mushrooms came as a hand-size pice of bread, topped with some sort of mashed mushrooms and topped with fried mushrooms, a bit of arugula on the side. Mushrooms where quite dry, but tasted good. Overall not bad, but nothing to write home about.

The pancakes came has three palm-sized pancakes, layered with vanilla cream and a few sliced berries - probably 2 strawberries, 2 raspberries in total. The pancakes where kind off Central European style - thicker than a crepe, thinner than a US pancake. Vanilla cream was thick and tasty, but a bit heavy. Again an ok dish, but not nearly worth the 128 HKD (plus service - so 140). I should mention that this usually includes one scoop of ice cream, but as I find ice cream for brunch a bit strange I asked to serve them without.

So on the plus side they have a nice terrace, on the minus sides we paid more than 400 HKD for two (very small) coffee, two juices and two small and mediocre dishes.

I think there are some significantly better places for a brunch in HK.

It's been a rough few weeks for me so I decided to wander a little further for lunch this afternoon. There are a few intriguing options on my mind and after narrowing things down to ON Dining and Aberdeen Street Social, I wasted no time heading over to Central. I kept walking out of IFC until my feet stopped moving near the PMQ.I've always been a huge admirer of Jason Atherton's contemporary cuisine and it's a real shame that I didn't get to visit Aberdeen Street Social as often as I should.As q

As quick as I could roll my eyes, a little welcoming dish of nori crackers along with a nice loaf of bread (warm too!) was already waiting on deck. The nori crackers were really nice and crispy. Interesting to see how they pair it with a special squid-ink dip.

First up for me this afternoon was roasted scallops with apple crumble and parmesan cheese foam. I am not sure if apple crumble was the right term to describe this dish as I would rather call it an "apple lasagna".

Anyways, they have this really delicious scallop, roasted to golden brown color, wrapped around with a "sheet" of granny smith apple. The acidity from the granny smith was perfect for the sweetness of the scallop and I love the parmesan cheese foam, crushed hazelnut and dill providing the finishing touch. What a way to start this meal!

It's going to take a lot to impress me with this second dish coz I've never been a big fan of fish but they managed to surprise me with a well executed dish of roasted halibut. The texture of the halibut was nice and buttery, the way I like it. The squid ink risotto was a touch over-seasoned but nevertheless a very enjoyable dish without a question.

For dessert, I was having the caramelized apple "lasagna" with black honey ice-cream, green apply jelly and hazelnuts. Not to be mistaken with my scallop dish earlier, this one also features granny smith and hazelnut. I thought it was quite a pleasant dish. Although I didn't quite see the lasagna in play, I did enjoy the mix of sweetness and acidity.

什麽是浪漫?不是老蘭的的DJ MUSIC,不是人疊人的場面,是舒適的環境,播著Pop Ballad的歌,呷一口Cocktail。除夕一晚,在中環一帶倒數後,我們往上環方向走去,看見Aberdeen Social Street還在營業,餐廳窗門邊都掛滿燈飾,忽然想起了Santa Barbara的餐廳,很有FEEL。我們各點了Pealini (HKD120) ﹠ God Save the Gin (HKD128),Bartender 在Cocktail上都放了一小枝英國國旗,很可愛呢。Pealini混了各種Lime-related ingredients,Lemon Juice... Cucumber...感覺很Detox,像是能幫助消化的酒精飲料呢!這的確很易人口,不怕太甜,我三兩下已把它喝光了。God Save the Gin的Gin味道剛剛好,不怕太濃,隠隠還聞到Cinnamon味道,實在太Refreshing了!價錢方面,這兩杯COCKTAIL確實不便宜,與酒店的COCKTAIL價錢相若,但以Cocktail Quality和環境來比較,這兒也許比酒店BAR更好呢。之前也曾經到Ab

Cucumber...感覺很Detox,像是能幫助消化的酒精飲料呢!這的確很易人口,不怕太甜,我三兩下已把它喝光了。God Save the Gin的Gin味道剛剛好,不怕太濃,隠隠還聞到Cinnamon味道,實在太Refreshing了!價錢方面,這兩杯COCKTAIL確實不便宜,與酒店的COCKTAIL價錢相若,但以Cocktail Quality和環境來比較,這兒也許比酒店BAR更好呢。

之前也曾經到Aberdeen Street Social 吃過Brunch,但Egg Benedict認真麻麻,也不便宜,即使我是倫敦Pollen Street Social的愛戴者,這也勾不起我再去的意欲。想不到這兒的Cocktail渙然一新!

下午茶跟很久沒見的中學同學見個面太耐冇見 想要談多些大家的近況就選了PMQ的地點由於就腳 就隨便走進 一間吧這間叫 Aberdeen Street Social我們都有點餓 毫無頭緒之下見到shop入面有個blackboard 寫著 "Tea Social" 其實就是afternoon tea set*我們就點了 這個。$288 for 2persons每人一杯飲品有3層 最頂層是 咸點咸點包括 碎蛋沙律三文治x2/ 煙三文魚三文治x2碎蛋沙律三文治-沒有味道的 白麵包太乾煙三文魚三文治-煙三文魚味道適中 白麵包太乾第2層 是scone3個scone我都吃不出他是甚麼味道用刀切下 一切就散了咬下去 就像用micro wave叮完一樣乾到 放入口都有點不舒適 我們每人吃一半都不想繼續吃了第3層JAAL就是 朱古力mousse cake朱古力cake我不歡喜吃吃了一啖就停止了還有2粒puff cream沒有一點味道2杯仔的yogurt.桑莓味 酸酸的 非常開胃全餐最好吃這兩杯了我點了個iced lemon tea幸好有茶味 的檸檬茶。

吃了一啖就停止了
還有2粒puff cream沒有一點味道
2杯仔的yogurt.
桑莓味 酸酸的 非常開胃
全餐最好吃這兩杯了

我點了個iced lemon tea
幸好有茶味 的檸檬茶。

A good friend owed me a big one and hence offered a free dinner. Free dinner! I am a killer at choosing fancy restaurant, fancy enough to make them unfriend me…. Ok, we still remain friends afterwards. Central area is notorious for overpricing quality (or mediocre) food and PMQ has collected its name recently. A drinking there two months ago proved it has nice atmosphere and hence i booked a table for two. The waiter said we need to handle the table back by 915pm when it must be their peak hour

The waiter said we need to handle the table back by 915pm when it must be their peak hour for catering guests who come for drink, but eventually no one kicked our ass despite our staying until 930pm.
OK back to food and restaurant. First of all, this res is one of a kind for dating (well, as friends we still pulled it off) -- nice decor, two stories building with romantically dimmed light, very friendly and sweet waiters and waitress working hard to get a cozy seat for me, while no window seats were available they generously offered balcony but I rejected.. (come on, Aug HK night...) Similar to other gourmet, my perception on the menu is that they really do not have a lot to offer. 8 types of starter and main respectively.

I do not really understand the word Beignet and expected something fancy, while it turned out to be dough made product and FRIED. I am not making a fuss but fried food has been literally cut off from my diet so I tear the oyster and finished what’s inside. For oyster, the fresher the better, so I can barely make compliment on this one. As for the salmon aside, it is tender enough but a bit of salty, caviar does not have unpleasant smell so I gave 7 out of 10 for the combination. but given the price… well, ok, I didn’t pay so I will shut up.

It is something that looks like pumpkin spring roll but not cloying at all, instead, pine nuts inside give a refreshing scent on the palate, which offset the much flavored taste from the pig we ordered later.

We had pork loin and cod (average HKD350 each). The loin is perfectly cooked – you can see the pink layer in the center while the skin is neither too raw nor oily. This is better than the suckling picks I tried in Ole the Spanish res. How I wish we had a glass of Aussie Grenache on hand! Roasted onion is an icing on the cake. I am not an onion guy because I always worried about unpleasant breath afterwards but this one is a bit of sweet and taste like lily petal lol..
Cod was just so so, just the normal one you can get in those Kennedy Town restaurants with cost lower than 200. What’s worse, I forgot to tell them to remove high calories sauce (like cucumber mixed mayonnaise; but I can only have olive oil to go with my salad
.. Mushroom and clam taste great, better than cod itself and I hope it did not contain too much MSG.
Dessert:
We ordered Blueberry sorbet. I have not had ice cream/sorbet for all most THREE months so anything that is cold and lightly sweet makes me lose judgment. Awesome, in a word. Canned blueberry inside contains too much sugar but sorbet adds balance back. Bonus is that they provided Pre-dessert LOL. The mango flavored sorbet with something like vanilla flavored flakes. Sorry I really can’t tell what it was.
I personally favor light tasted, not spicy, refreshing flavored cuisine. Food offered here is my type as long as I do not need to pay. So if you want to have a relaxing date/family chilling out (not too exciting to impress someone), this could be an option. just make sure you got a corner table.

LadyE今朝過開黎中環見客,即日約食lunch,佢話想食Egg Benedict,好野!! 我同LadyE最鍾意試新野架,咁不如試下呢間係PMQ裡面既餐廳呀, 上次經過, 幾好環境呀~~~等我Book定位先~~ oh原來有分架, 如果你食three course set可以預約坐上層,地下就食Bistro menu無得book架, 12點幾應該唔FULL既,walk-in啦!雖然好黑心咁,但係我就係貪佢人少少,可以靜靜地傾下計~~ 果然即刻有位 食物款式唔算多,不過叫main dish加$50就有detox juice或茶啡+ signature cake, 都幾扺呀:P LadyE話個Egg Benedict好好味,我覺得隻蛋做得唔錯,只是味道單調少少,因為只有Ham無其他選擇,同埋早排食bricklane既有菠菜,太正了所以比較起上黎無impressive,overall味道都ok另外叫了呢個sea bass+BLT pork belly, 反為有驚喜。番茄碎酸酸甜甜好開胃呀!如果魚可以再淋啲就更好喇!Cake就叫Carrot cake 同 Grandma Chocolat

LadyE話個Egg Benedict好好味,我覺得隻蛋做得唔錯,只是味道單調少少,因為只有Ham無其他選擇,同埋早排食bricklane既有菠菜,太正了所以比較起上黎無impressive,overall味道都ok

Cake就叫Carrot cake 同 Grandma Chocolate Cake。Carrot Cake 有驚喜喎!好香橙皮味,甜度剛好。上面個mousse係caramelised white choco cream, 唔太好cream既我都連埋蛋糕一齊食晒!
Chocolate cake 正常,唔差的

Overall都幾好,價錢有點貴,上菜有點慢,環境好舒服,搵唔到位食野既話可以一試,只係中環行去SOHO既話仲近啲同多完化啲喎~ 應該未有咁快可以返黎喇~
题外话/补充资料: 5-7pm Happy Hour $50 起, 可以諗諗~~ :P

This was my first time to the PMQ. The restaurant was easy to find, as it is the first shop you see from the entrance. There are seats both outdoors and indoors, and my 3 friends and I were seated indoors.The afternoon set menu was already set, but for one of the desserts, we had to choose between a carrot cake and a chocolate cake. This was my first time to the PMQ. The restaurant was easy to find, as it is the first shop you see from the entrance. There are seats both outdoors and indoors, and my 3 friends and I were seated indoors.
The afternoon set menu was already set, but for one of the desserts, we had to choose between a carrot cake and a chocolate cake. As we ordered 2 afternoon tea sets, we ordered both cakes. We also had to choose our drinks from a selection of teas and coffees. I chose a cup of lemon iced tea. The tea was good and cold, but only a slice of lemon was given.
The afternoon tea set was just like the other classic British tea sets, with scones, savories, and sweets. The smoked salmon sandwiches were fresh. The scones had a crispy top and it was soft inside. It tasted even better with the cream and strawberry jam.
As for the sweets, I’d definitely recommend the rich chocolate cake. The sweetness of the chocolate was appropriate and very filling. The eclairs are also a must-try. The fruits such as the raspberries were fresh and suited the dessert well.
Overall, the portion was suitable for two people and $288 for 2 is worth the deal. Each customer of this tea set would receive complementary NARS products, including a mini eyeliner, a mini lip gloss, and a letter to a free 15-minute make-up service.

環境位置 7/10

甫踏進餐堂覺得好relaxing同時有啲西式懷舊嘅vibe,餐堂有唔少classic黑皮傢具,亦有吊扇同吊燈增添感覺。我都幾喜歡呢種悉心設計,唔一定要金碧輝煌,反而咁樣friendly好似令您好想過個lazy afternoon咁 
 lazy岩晒我。Service都幾好,waitresses好有禮貌。

作為八爪魚big fan,毫不猶豫就選擇呢個,啲八爪魚食落好夠脆有咬口,唔似一啲餐廳會serve d過稔冇口感的八爪魚粒,啲香料味同少量橄欖油調得好香,可以提升到鮮味。個賣相亦好靚,粉紅色外表彷彿話我知應該醃咗一段時間,同碟上其他食材好夾,無論賣相定味道。黑色的墨汁脆脆,有蝦片咁脆,超開心-一碟salad點都要有啲crispy嘢中和吓開心吓。其他菜都好新鮮,配個醋汁,good!

完全唔食羊的我今日竟然揀咗lamb,可能因為其他main choices (sea bass & risotto) 我興趣不太....
呢個羊髀外層稍煎過所以特別香同索晒汁,而入面啲肉好軟好稔,紋理好靚,因為係慢煮,煮得medium rare岩岩好,切嘅時候有少少血水,好有羊味—其實都有啲羶味,不過呢樣嘢好主觀,我係少少味都食得出,但佢比較之下又唔算好羶。個汁有啲蜜甜味,好醒胃亦蓋到少少羊羶。雖然最後我停咗手,但仍然好滿足—全因為佢嘅side,話說我係個potato精,超愛食薯製品;今次佢係一層層薄切薯片疊埋一齊,煎好兩邊,只係咁就已經超好食,外脆內軟,好濃薯味,雖然有啲油但咁先做到咁香!難題係食嘅時候究竟打橫定打直拮落去呢?

甜品時間,揀咗是為著好奇,apple點整到lasagna?答案就係5分鐘後揭曉咗—係兩小舊層層疊嘅超薄切蘋果片,食之前我研究咗好耐,究竟刀功要幾勁先切到咁薄呢?究竟有幾多層?蘋果片仍然keep到蘋果嘅甜味同鎖到好多天然蘋果汁,加上層層之間嘅cinnamon,會食得好開懷因為佢比起其他甜品light好多,冇dairy products材料,食多幾舊都得。不過咁light未必個個鍾意,對我嚟講都ok,反而我較鍾意旁邊好crunchy嘅hazelnuts。

食完apple lasagna以為要走,點知店員仲拎埋complimentary treats過嚟,一望入面嘅sweet treats,心已被俘虜!最鍾意dark chocolate ganache 同peanut butter ganache,入面好軟入口即溶。love this little sweet surprise!

係呢頭食set lunch多數$180-200埋單所以佢算高於average,不過佢有自己嘅unique selling point,食物精緻同賣相均有設計,又有最後的甜品送,廳堂亦都係特別,有佢嘅價值。

Conclusion: 有地理優勢,可以比嚟PMQ嘅人食個悠閒下午茶/午餐,整個dining experience 好舒服



再嚟嗎?

唔錯,lunch可以再嚟,但希望餐牌如果可以occasionally 改吓,咁就可以keep住嚟,因為我都係唔太ok羊羶味,如果有新main,我會想試;甜品都係,有啲新嘢會好motivate我再嚟!

Aberdeen Street Social - 強差人意,敗興而返。又是三人行,在活化的警察宿舍內,聚在一起,熱鬧非常。被限定的一小時半裡完成進餐,或許因為前身是紀律部隊宿舍的關係,事情都變得要有系統起來吧,一笑。我們嘗試找尋可用餐的菜單,但竟然沒有頭緒。趁著大聲高呼,此起彼落的大笑聲下,我們顯然變得蒼老,彷彿高檔是和寧靜稍稍劃上等號的觀念已是落伍了。選了黑毛豬 ($320),烤的,端上來,我們三人愕然。散碎碎,七零八落,肉的部份少,煎出來不香口,豬本身是上等貨,由櫻花的淡粉嫣紅至啡褐色熟透亦有層次感。惜稍乾偏瘦而沒有太多肉汁。配菜矮瓜先稍焗沒有醬汁,但塗上醬汁較鹹,太濃郁,那些點點南瓜蛋黃醬,再襯一起,顯然太膩。這樣加上瘦瘦連骨的黑毛豬一起,似是伴菜搶了主菜的風頭。廚師好像沒有做好足夠的準備功夫,便硬蹦蹦湊成一碟便算。菜式的結構失衡,且各方的元素,互有衝突,難以兼容一起。在質感,感官上都失色下,最終當然敗興而返了。
