我覺得八爪魚也比較普通,有點像燒烤的味道。
而fired sea bream 值得一試,魚煎得很香口,略嫌份量比較細。即是吃了前菜主菜甜品,也未必飽肚。

Gave this lovely place a shot and I was surprised how good it was!So, set lunch was $638 per head, reasonable price, every set came with bread, spread, olives & the amazing “Squash Blossom” Although it’s complementary, I’ve to say it’s one of the best dish of the day! —我們試了 Citrus, Earl Grey Mousse, Forest Berry, 三個甜品當中,我最喜歡Earl Grey Mousse, 因為有開心果在當中,而且味道不太甜,其他兩個甜品正常發揮

今餐飯除了好食之外,特別要多謝兩位服務員Gary 同Ricky , 他們非常熱情,對餐牌也十分8熟悉

Rosewood 內有多間餐廳,每間都很吸引,要試齊要花時間,今次輪到Asaya Kitchen 。主打地中海菜,相信是味度偏向海洋及清新,適逢夏季,必定相當適合。有個tasting menu ,內裡配搭合口味,二話不說就選了。麵包似homemade ,醬料很特別,不似一般多只提供總統牛油。另外每度菜都很有驚喜,一試難忘。

First course:
Hamachi Crudo was a refreshing cold appetizer, the added sea urchin elevated it. There’s nothing more Mediterranean than a nicely grilled octopus with charred crispy edges but still incredibly tender, but the squid ink was unpleasantly bitter.

Second course:
Potato veloute didn’t look very appetizing but it was tasty full of mushroom-ey earthiness, thanks to the added black truffle and smoky soft boiled egg. Japanese king fish strozzapreti is a nice pasta dish, cooked king fish had an intense savory umami that almost tasted like tuna. Absolutely adored the strozzapreti which was so chewy and al dente.

Main course:
Dry aged sea bream was nicely cooked with crispy skin, complemented by tahini vinaigrette, crispy kale and chickpea. Lobster Bouillabaisse (+$108) was one of their signature, nicely cooked lobster served in a harissa sauce that carried a rich Crustacean ocean umami flavors, the tiny two pieces of toast certainly not enough to finish that delicious sauce!

Desserts:
Hazelnut ganache with rye crumble and persimmon coulis was a bit too sweet for our liking. The Lime mille feuille was nice especially like the refreshing Strawberry sorbet.

Focaccia bread with tomatoes- very soft fluffy
, the crisps just ok as I prefer a more crispy type, this one has more oil content making it slightly more flaky.  The smoked olives is a Wow to me as this is the first time I have smoked olives haha! Added another level of taste to the olives.

Amber jack crudo with citrus and sea urchin emulsion - Wow so colourful! The raw fish goes very well with the sweet and acidic citrus emulsion, the diced vegetable stems provide good crunch. When you taste the sea urchin emulsion after the citrus one it created a 180 degrees change in taste sweet acidic to fishy savory. Was thinking if the sea urchin and citrus emulsion is a good combination or not. I could certainly go with just the citrus one alone. But stand alone the sea urchin is definitely very nice.

Toothfish with zucchini mint cream - another work of art. So visually appealing. Tooth fish is perfectly cooked, topped with mild pimento spiced breadcrumbs. Crunchy mildly spicy top meets with very juicy delicate white flesh, what a match! Mild pasley minty cream with toothfish is perfect match. Could be the best tasting toothfish dish recently.

Berries, sorbet dessert - the glass plate makes it look as if the dessert is served on ice, fabulous. The fruits are all sweet but not too sweet with strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrent and blue berry. This should be a good punch of antioxidants haha
Sorbet is very mildly flavoured with beetroot.
Carmelised sugar wafer provides good crunch.

— Toothfish is probably one of my favourite types of cooked fish to have, so this was a definite must order when I saw it on the menu! I was super impressed with this, as everything from taste to presentation was outstanding. The toothfish was pan seared to perfection leaving the flesh to be tender and juicy. The fillet itself has a very high fat content and had a very buttery texture. I loved all the flavours in this dish, health conscious but so delicious. I particularly enjoyed the tomato crust on the fish which gave it a unique taste and aroma, and paired with the zucchini mint cream, the dish became a lot lighter and easy to eat.

— A real taste of the sea. The flavours in this were incredibly rich and fresh. The pasta is cooked in a strong lobster and crab sauce which I found slightly too salty for my liking. There was a decent amount of king crab in this that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I loved that the vegetables still had a slight crunch to them to create contrasting textures. Loved the grated lemon zest on top that really helped bring our the taste of the seafood!

— Focaccia was super tasty! Golden-brown all over and soft on the inside. The seaweed olive oil spread was so unique, a slight earthy taste to it that complemented the herb flavour in the focaccia. This was a great way to start off the meal!


📍Ambiance: restaurant is bright & spacious, the outside sitting area is perfect for cooler temperatures, staff are friendly and professional.
⭐️Would visit again?: Yes! Would love to try out their weekend brunch

一早起身食個好豐富又健康嘅早餐,心情都會好啲😜,呢個早餐同平時all day breakfast 好唔同,都係比較健康嘅,肉類都係海鮮為主,如果平時係食肉獸,其實都可以試吓依個早餐,早餐以健康同有機為主,😉食完之後,其實都好Fresh 😜小編同朋友都好鍾意食佢哋自家製嘅包同埋果jam,另外佢哋就蛋奄列,口感就好特別啦,好似食緊疏乎厘😛,poached egg 同牛油果mix 埋,so yummy👍🏻, 三文魚有啲酸酸地嘅汁好開胃,另外仲有奇亞籽杯,成個早餐都好健康😝整體來講,成個體驗都唔錯,無論環境同食物都係高質嘅,而且都坐得好舒服,有啲渡假嘅feel,大家可以着靚啲衫去到餐廳嗰度食下飯,影吓相,打下卡🤣😋

今日係同男朋友3000日紀念日book咗呢間冷冷地門嘅asaya kitchen入到嚟我男朋友仲講笑話廚師多過客(可能因為我哋book 6:30大概7.點令都開始多人🤣)咁比起樓下bayfare social嘅熱鬧呢到係少人又坐得舒適好多嘅講返嘢食先!前菜我哋叫咗個mediterranean octopus地中海八瓜魚咬落香甜又唔腥外係尤其係尾部好脆 有焦香上面有薄薄一層果醬帶到八瓜魚鮮味又唔會搶fo兩個main都好有驚喜勝價比高靚海鮮!食食下聽到外藉廚師叫咗聲omg然後zizijaja鬧肋廚食到亦到Feel到廚師對嘢食嘅執著🥺甜品拿破輪都有驚喜啲吉士加咗啲碎薄荷葉層次好豐富!總結嚟講冇一道菜係令我哋失望全部都食得到廚師嘅心思一定會再嚟食!!同埋間餐廳主打健康,帶屋企啲老人家嚟食都好啱!

外係尤其係尾部好脆 有焦香
上面有薄薄一層果醬
帶到八瓜魚鮮味又唔會搶fo
兩個main都好有驚喜
勝價比高靚海鮮!

食食下聽到外藉廚師叫咗聲omg
然後zizijaja鬧肋廚
食到亦到Feel到廚師對嘢食嘅執著🥺

甜品拿破輪都有驚喜
啲吉士加咗啲碎薄荷葉
層次好豐富!

總結嚟講冇一道菜係令我哋失望
全部都食得到廚師嘅心思
一定會再嚟食!!

同埋間餐廳主打健康,
帶屋企啲老人家嚟食都好啱!
