行過橋底見到有間好chill 嘅餐廳見lunch set$128起加一 於是決定一試驟眼睇以為係西餐廳 但再望下menu 先知原來係菲律賓🇵🇭餐廳Lunch set有前菜+主菜+甜品+飲品話就話$128但其實好多都要加錢因為我一個人食飯 所以被安排到吧台位置 望住出面上落樓梯嘅行人嗌左雞肉春卷+白飯🍚（原本想嗌生菜🥬但賣哂）+燒烤雞腿肉🍗+凍檸檬茶🍋雞肉春卷食落口感覺太油 但整體脆身 同個甜酸醬算夾 內餡係雞肉🐓加蘿蔔🥕洋蔥粒🧅到主菜方面 雞腿肉有驚喜 雞皮煎到香脆可口 仲有小小醬油被火烘過嘅味道 成舊雞肉都有好濃嘅醬油香味 咸甜交集 好食😋舖係白飯上面嘅太陽蛋邊亦都煎得脆卜卜 唔錯👍🏻餐廳整體環境乾淨舒服 角落有把大大把風扇對住露天嘅座位 即使依家7月尾都唔會話好熱 如果經過又諗唔到食咩嘅話呢間可以一試

朋友仔同我慶祝食生日飯，喺中環行嚟行去唔知食邊間～我哋曾經有一位菲律賓國籍嘅朋友仔離開咗，朋友們為咗掛住佢，我哋最尾揀咗間菲律賓菜！1.燒烤肉（五花肉）佢嘅燒烤偏鹹，不過朋友話已經就咗香港人口味，已經算淡咗㗎啦🤣不過肥瘦均勻，都OK☺️2.花心醬燉菜只有少少嘅花生醬味道，我哋感覺似沙嗲醬多啲🤣佢燉菜唔係我哋香港人食嘅燉…佢係將烤過嘅燒肉、菜、茄子等加入呢個花生醬入面～都幾特別！感覺都唔錯3.茄子奄列其實就係茄子，再加雞蛋，然後上面加咗啲燒烤汁～再配茄汁！真係比較少見～又出乎意料地幾夾🤣4.炸豬手呢個個人覺得麻麻哋🤣感覺佢嘅皮偏硬～唔算太脆，份量亦都唔算太多，所以叫唔叫都得🤣🤣5.蒜香飯菲律賓嘅飯，原來有蒜係入邊！朋友話喺菲律賓當地都係咁樣食🤣🤣6.燒雞翼燒雞翼唔係普通嘅燒烤雞翼～佢入邊有種酸酸地嘅怪味？不過又幾特別🤣7.菲式芒果提拉米蘇我哋比佢嘅中文呃咗～其實佢英文係寫Float~可能係中文翻譯有問題🤣其實佢就係餅乾再加啲cream再加芒果～～我哋以為佢好細個，上到嚟都幾大份😂其實兩個人share一個都夠啦🧐8.斑斕雪糕其實就係斑斕味嘅雪糕，再加啲啫喱！9.椰青正正常常～就係普通嘅椰青🤣

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as I folllow Jen Balisi, the owner & also food influencer on social media & I have her cookbook from my daughter who is a fan. 又是一家專門兩次去的店，第一次去沒有訂位不接受walk in，第二次訂位，平日只有午餐菜單！份量首先不大，再說味道，蝦肉質還可以，但是調味一般，豬肉有點類似叉燒。

係香港真係咩菜式都有，菲律賓菜比較少有，所以就想去試下，之前去過菲律賓，係我印象中都係香濃惹味嘅菜式。去到預訂時間準時入座，餐廳裝修時尚，除佐室内位置，仲有個半露天嘅吧枱，服務都唔錯👍今次有兩個菜幾特別🔴Sizzling Sisig - Pork Belly絕對要試，佢係菲律賓嘅經典菜式，將烤好既豬腩肉用鐵板燒上，味道酸酸甜甜，佢保留表皮香脆，裡面就好juicy。🤤🤤🔴Cassava Cake 原來係木薯糕，都係第一次試，口感煙煙韌韌，幾得意，都幾飽肚。

話說自己成日去soho個頭食嘢，由呢間餐廳裝修緊個時已經bookmark咗超耐想去，今日終於同朋友到訪～懶人唔想用腦就嗌咗tasting menu ($298/pax)，感覺都幾抵食😛Lumpiang Shanghai 其實係雞肉春卷，食落去入邊都幾香，而且炸得好香口，加埋佢哋自家製菠蘿辣醬幾惹味❤️‍🔥Adobo Popcorn Chicken份量都幾大方，而且雞肉都唔會好乾，入面幾嫩滑，不過調味就鹹咗少少，店員都建議如果覺得鹹可以加佢哋自家製嘅醋，加完之後酸酸地的確中和返個調味，自己覺得更加容易入口🤪Kinilaw 係將三文魚刺身拌以魚露、醋、菲律賓金桔汁等，配上薄薄嘅米餅食～佢哋呢度每日嘅刺身都唔同，今日嘅三文魚超級肥美，加埋米餅食好邪惡😈Spicy Funky Coconut Noodles 呢個有驚喜😚佢哋面底係做刀削麵，食落去更加有咬口，上邊掛滿醬料，醬料質地幾濃稠，食落去有蝦膏嘅鮮同埋椰奶嘅香🫶🏻Sizzling Sisig 一上枱店員就會將三文魚同其他材料攪拌，喺個鐵板上面聽到滋滋聲已經流晒口水🤤 三文魚加埋蛋黃醬同埋蛋汁撈勻真心好香，而且味道好濃郁，加埋佢哋嘅garli

Love the food at Barkada! Highly recommend the coconut noodles, pork sisig, birria tacos, adobo popcorn chicken, pork belly, and my favorite, the garlic brown butter spaghetti! The desserts are so yummy - I’ve had the cassava cake and mango float. The drinks are delicious as well, both alcoholic or the mocktails. You can’t go wrong with their barkada sour! A well designed large space, and at first very inviting. Friendly service, and we had high expectations having followed them on social media pre launch and since. However the over all experience especially the food was a little underwhelming, and questions the value for money. Cocktails were OK but nothing to shout about. In short expectations didn’t meet reality sadly.

Make sure to book at this Modern Filipino restaurant! First time trying here in Barkada with my husband. What I like the most here was the excellent service of the staffs, specially the young girl in a pony tail, I appreciated that she always put a smile on her face despite of being busy the whole time.
