I was at a friends place on Tuesday night and we got Bowl Burger. Originally we wanted to get delivery but there was some kind of mess around and they apparently don't deliver up to Bonham Road.. But despite that hiccup let me tell you about my burger!!We ordered three types of burgers;Pork Cutlet Curry - This was pretty typical of what you'd expect of a katsu curry burger. The meat was actually really good, a huge cutlet with a fair amount of curry sauce.. however that kind of made the crunchy coating go a little soggy That could have to do with the muddle up of delivery aswell, which definately messed with the chips! Other than the burger it was on a nice seeded bun with minimal lettuce - I'm a lettuce fan and was wishing I could have had tomato and all the lovely freshness on the burger.. without them I feel like my food is closer to mcdonaldsFish Burger - This one looked really good and there were a lot of positive comments on the tenderness of the fish so kudos to whoever does those! They also had tomato and a mayo style sauce so seemed much fresher with better texture contrast! Chicken Burger - We got the saucy ones, it was noted that they were 'really saucy' but also very tasty.. these also had more vegies on them I'd definately try this one in future!Chips - The chips made me sad!! I really wanted to enjoy them but because of the delay between them being cooked and getting to my mouth, they'd sweat in the bag resulting in super soggy chips! These were something I would be happy to buy on their own though! Especially with gravy! They were the kind of chips that still have some skin and if they'd been salted just a little more I think I would have been wowed!All in all it was pretty yummy and I'd like to try their food again without the delay..Would I recommend it? Yeah I guess, if I was feeling for burgers!

Bowl burger isn't very large, and there's not a lot of seating. Luckily it's not as popular at lunch time as other lunch spots in the area. When we went, we had to sit outside; the weather was bad, but it wasn't horribly uncomfortable. I had the bowl burger (how could I not?). Some details:The patty: very juicy, like lots of Hong Kong burgers, quite "seasoned", not a lot of meaty flavor, not particularly large, a little off-putting in color (greyish). The bacon: thick, meaty bacon, not overcooked or burnt. I thought the bacon was some of the best bacon-on-a-burger that I've had in a while.The cheese: quite a "fake cheesy" taste, though I don't think as overwhelming as the cheese at Burgeroom. The veggies: Lettuce, tomatoes, and mushrooms. They didn't skimp on the tomatoes or mushrooms, so plusses for that; I'd've liked jalapenos or some other hot peppers.Condiments: I put on my own, as I hear the burger sauce has mayo in it.Mostly the burger was fine. As I say, not as meaty tasting as I'd like, a little too fake-cheesy, but with impressive bacon. I prefer GBU or Shake'em Buns, but this isn't far off-- it's pretty standard as far as Hong Kong burgers go. If you're looking for something special, it's not here, but there's nothing wrong with the burgers, and I probably will eat here again. They have a lamb burger! B+.The fries were pretty normal. Solid. B+.

因为在上环工作,所以才能找到这间内街内的汉堡店,这间店面比较小,也没有特别的装潢,一不留神是很容易错过的。<<特级羊肉汉堡>>看到餐牌里有羊肉汉堡心里就“登”了一声,因为一般汉堡店买的,多是牛、猪、鸡比较多,羊肉真系比较少,所以便毫不犹豫的选了羊肉汉堡。不得不说这款汉堡让我非常惊喜,肉质非常充足,绝不偷工减料,而且还保留了羊的骚味,如果你喜欢吃羊,那么羊肉汉堡绝对是我心水的选择。只是店内的汉堡都是即叫即做的,而且供应有限,所以建议在上环工作的朋友先打电话柯打,就可避免等待时间太长。<<薯仔苹果蛋沙拉>>汉堡可以单叫或叫套餐,套餐包一罐汽水及薯条或沙拉二选一,虽然食谇对薯条赞不绝口,但我还是比较喜欢健康一点,所以便选择沙拉,这里的沙拉只有一款,是有著仔溶伴新鲜苹果及蛋做成,很有饱足感,但没有肥腻感。

香港的街名,很多都是以人名作为街名的,上环孖沙街也不例外,这个典故在下不愿在此详述了。从大道中的新园,游走一翻,走到禧利街和孖沙街一带,附近食店多的是,吃到不吃,当中生记清汤腩是在下也曾到访的食店,但是他不是在下第二个目标。来到孖沙街的Bowl Burger,是在下一直都想试的食店,上一次已经来到门口,却没有进去,今次却决定走入去,看一看吃一吃吧!从门外的餐牌,已经有好几款汉堡包,也有今日精选。一场来到,故然希望可以吃到他的牛肉汉堡,可是在下早几日前已经吃过太多牛肉了,今天不再吃牛肉汉堡,反而对于以咖哩猪扒汉堡作为今日精选,就试试看好了。进入店舖,就使在下想起了早前去过的 Panda Burger ,Bowl Burger 有著 Panda Burger 一样 ,店内有一个厨房,厨房之外就是有几个坐位,Bowl Burger 与 Panda Burger 亦同样是小店。不消几分钟,汉堡包已经在手,这精选有点不同,就是没有薯条,只是配备罐装汽水,所以性价比较平。这咖哩猪扒汉堡的份量,有如 Triple O's 的大小,而且据悉咖哩汁是自家制的,因此咖哩汁没有辛辣的味道,有点似日本咖哩;猪扒炸得松脆而且松化。其实在下想加多一客薯条,可是之前吃过烧味饭,加上这么大的汉堡包,非常之饱肚,所长决定不添加。而当在下拍照期间闪光一闪,吓了店一跳,在下连忙道歉呢!幸好店员没有怪责,真的谢谢他们呢!

今日中午又再犹疑买什么做午餐之际, 心血来潮想食薯条! 所以同事便陪我到孖沙街的Bowl Burger觅食! 在上环工作三年多, 都是第一次帮衬他们的汉堡! 看出小店是小本经营, 只有两位店员, 坐位更只得个数个, 看来店子是做外卖客的较多。幸好1点到达店子还有位坐呢~有选择困难症的小妹谂了好一断时间才决定要那款汉堡! 本身想试双层牛肉芝士汉堡餐, 耐何$82实在有点太贵! 所以便要了价钱比较合乎经济效益的特级牛肉汉堡餐 $52。由于汉堡、薯条等都是即叫即煎的~所以两位店员都在小小的厨房里不停煎、炸、烘! 所以约要等约十分钟。粗薯条, 新鲜热辣辣出炉十分好味, 薯味很重, 和M字店相比, 粗薯条确实更优胜! 不过亦都好快饱肚!除了薯条外, 店子亦有售卖小食, 如:芝士条、薯格、洋葱圈、鸡块等, 好像也满好味!牛肉汉堡, 等了一会终于出炉~两块芝麻汉堡烘得脆脆的, 内有生菜、蕃茄、手打牛肉、蕃茄酱和沙律酱。(小妹走了蕃茄) 后来才知道这包原来是没有芝士的, 实在有点点打击! 因为一直觉得半溶的芝士和牛肉是绝配...怪在自己不够细心呢! 无疑地牛肉挺厚身和新鲜的, 食完啖啖肉有肉汁的, 完全不像坊间手打牛肉有的"苏味"和"多筋"的情况出现。但略嫌牛味不够浓, 而且在没有加芝士的情况后, 感觉有点失色。虽然第一次光顾有点失望, 但对于这种小店经营我还是十分支持的! 有机会我要再试试其他汉堡呢!
