The Mexican restaurant offers their signature a la carte menu along with their new fresh off the grill items, while weekend brunch menu is also available for just $238 with free-flow tortilla chips as well as drinks (including alcoholic drinks)! The space is located at the heart of Sai Kung centre taking over a spacious area with upper floor and outdoor seating area for those who like to enjoy some fresh air or those who come with pets.
Their grill menu has all sort of different fresh delicious smokey meat or fish main with the option of having a side at a small surcharge.
Grilled fish fillets $148
The restaurant do care about the world using sustainable farmed Pangasius fish fillets marinated in lime, chilli and olive oil. The fish has been cooked until absolute perfection with a moist and flaky texture. The light fish tasted even fresher when complimented with the wedge of lime and spicy mayo served on the side. Add a side for $28 which you can choose between Mexican Rice / Fries / Salad. We have chosen the salad which is just fresh, crunchy, and nutritious with a refreshing sweet and sour taste from the seasonings.
Weekend Brunch $238
Their very affordable brunch consists of free flow homemade chips and salsa, a main course from "Cali-Mex Classics", a dessert and free flow alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
Starting from some beer and tortilla chips, three hot sauces (mild, medium, hot) are provided for you to give those plain chips a little bit more flavours.
Barbacoa beef burrito
Instead of their pork, chicken, veggies, or even seafood, we went for their spicy succuletn Australian Angus pulled beef, which has been marinated for 48 hours then slow baked and cooked in spice sauce. The burrito is then packed with all those classic ingredients including refried beans, pico de gallo, special blended cheese, sour cream, Mexican rice, and lettuce, all being wrapped in a chewy but soft flour tortilla.. A side of halepano, hot sauce and a wedge of lime are also provided for you to tailor the taste of your own burrito.
Churros ice cream sundae
At last, we have up the game by ordering a churros ice cream sundae instead of the traditional churros, without having to pay extra, as dessert is already included in the brunch menu. The beautiful ice cream cup is drizzled with chocolate fudge. It's best to enjoy it by dipping the freshly deep fried airy yet crunchy cinnamon-y churros into the cold vanilla ice cream. Lastly but not least, you can always order something extra and we highly recommend you their crafty cocktails. They are all pretty classic and they are also on-par!
Left: Espresso martini - recommended by the bartender because it is one of the best dessert cocktails to savour
Right: Mexican coffee - quite a strong cup of coffee loaded with whipped cream, this warm cocktail can definitely warm you up We are glad to see more and more Mexican restaurants opening up in Hong Kong, giving a more diverse dining culture in this busy city.
