Dinner with Partner after attending a charity event nearby. Have been meaning to come here for the longest of time having heard so many positive reviews about it and I have to say that our dinner did not disappoint. Hummus and pita bread to start. Upon the server’s recommendation, we also ordered the Baked Halloumi with pomegranate molasses and oregano. Not exactly a fan of hallloumi, which is a Cypriot cheese traditionally made from goat's and sheep's milk, a semihard, unripened, and brined cheese with a slightly spongy texture; but Francis had its heaviness removed with the citrusy pomegranate molasses and oregano.

For mains, we ordered beef short ribs with yogurt, cucumber, dill, tomato sauce. The short ribs were flavourful and melt in your mouth tender.

To end, we ordered olive oil cake with candied olives and bay leaf. Cake was fresh out of the oven and had a nice caramel flavour. Loved it.

今日過咗嚟灣仔呢邊放狗,就見到呢一間總統才之前都見到有朋友去食,評價都唔錯,呢一間餐廳嘅裝修非常靚,入邊亦都非常好坐,適合朋友或者家庭聚會,不過位置唔多,如果係假日記得預約!✔️chicken schnitzel, 呢個菜係用新鮮嘅雞,再加埋少少麵包糠去炸,整體上都做得非常香口,啱晒鍾意食香口嘢嘅我,味道都做得唔錯,幾特別第一次食!✔️shakshuka, 呢個係蕃茄加雞蛋嘅組合再加埋麵包,雖然材料簡單,但係餐廳喺發揮上都做得好好,蕃茄嘅味道非常香濃,整體上成個配搭都好match

同partner 都好喜歡放平日既時候去d 特別d 既餐廳試下唔同味道, 今日黎到呢間地中海菜嘗試下平日有lunch set, 相對上平d 抵食d前菜叫左hummus同沙律hummus 係傳統地中海食物者係鷹嘴頭蓉 打既時候加入好多olive oil 口感好油潤配埋d pita bread , 一啖一啖好快食曬主菜叫左一份魚and 豬排豬感覺上好似吉列豬排 不過薄d脆d 唔會成口油魚就有好香香料味食落唔腥 冇骨overall 果set 都幾抵食 二百蚊鬆d 可以試下d 唔同味道

嚟到中東餐廳必定要試hummus🥰
走傳統路線,順滑嘅鷹嘴豆蓉,加上橄欖油,唔會太咸,配上嘅鬆軟pita bread幾好食🤤。
另外,香烤halloumi煙煙韌韌,係我喜愛嘅口感。配埋少許酸甜石榴,推薦一試。
Cigars就係幼春卷包住香料牛肉,同中式春卷有異曲同工之妙。

最近好似見到越來越多餐廳提供北非蛋。其實有啲似蕃茄肉醬,不過會再加入雞蛋、辣椒、洋葱、孜然、紅甜椒粉、牛角椒、肉豆蔻等,點包食唔錯,不過整體味道就唔算太特別🙈

💞整體來講
Weekend brunch可以一次過試晒咁多都唔同嘅中東菜式都算幾抵,不過覺得頭盤好過主菜,含有中東風味,但又唔會過於重口味,適合大眾口味~

the food is not bad but not impressive, worth trying but may not visit againThe hummus was smooth and flavourful, seemed like a small portion but it was good for 4 people to share, it was served with pita bread which was soft and fluffy.Lamb rump was the daily special, it was tender with minimal seasoning, the grilled eggplant was a nice side dish to go with it.The grilled halloumi were too sour for me, the seasoning combination was special but not my cup of teaShakshuka was a little spicy which

Shakshuka was a little spicy which elevated the taste of the whole dish, would be better if more sliced toast was served.

Vegetarian friendliness:4/5 .We’re happy that they have a “Vegetables” section for dinner menu. There were also many veg "small dishes", but it would be better if they can serve more veg mains for dinner..Service is excellent! Taste wise, food is average. It’s worth going for lunch when it was set at $150 a year ago. Now it’s $180. But not bad definitely!

Fair Middle East option if you are around Wan Chai and seeking a romantic vibe at bar table🍷 There are for sure better vegetarian middle east food on HK Island but somehow it is a no-brainer for Wan Chai / Admiralty people ✨

某日紅日下午決定出去走走,本來一心打算去日月星街一帶食pizza,點知當日walk in冇咁快有枱,最後唔打唔撞去咗bookmark咗好耐嘅Francis。呢度的確幾適合brunch飲杯野慢慢傾吓偈,幾多外國人到訪,local就好少,有種置身異地旅遊嘅感覺🤣Menu設計簡單易明,食物份量唔大,share is caring👍🏻如果選擇困難或第一次去想試哂signature dish ,不妨揀let us cook,避免不必要麻煩🤪Hummus配熱辣辣flatbread基本上都唔會點出錯,hummus夠creamy同smooth,不過鷹嘴豆味唔算好突出,略嫌橄欖油有啲太搶戲。最有驚喜莫過於烤八爪魚,八爪魚唔會烤到剛剛好帶點濃,Harissa先係重點🌶少辣嘅辣醬亦幾惹味。蝦都可以,通常食開garlic prawn多,依個中東style的確幾有風味,點包都係一流!而依度嘅Kafta係將羊肉同牛肉打碎做成肉丸,再加上蕃茄醬同青蔥,味道唔錯。整體食物質素唔差,環境幾chill,但我未必會翻兜🫣

Ad hoc dinner with folks. Someone shouts out for middle east cuisine. I was liked “hell yeah! Why not?” I always love Star Street area. Occupies by many cute lovely restaurants. We went there quite late on a Wednesday, luckily there’s last table available for 3 of us. I always like tasting menus, omakase, “let us feed you” menu as I don’t have to think and decide. Never had hamachi in this way. Very fresh to go with lettuce. Something light to start.

Love this one. It’s liked a mini spring roll filled with delicious spiced beef. It can be a great bar snack as well.

Lamb ribs - orange, yogurt, coriander
One thing i love about middle east food is, they have different kind of spices and with all those yogurt and coriander. Love this ribs. Grilled perfectly. You can tear the meat easily from the bone. A plate with so much flavour! The only short is….. i wish i could have one more.

The sourness in preserved lemon and yogurt is the highlight. It’s a good dish in a hot weather like this.

always needs some good wine to go with some good food!


Really good deal for the “let us cook” menu. It’s $420 only per head.


Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Look for Simone, their manager, for some advises on the wine
