La Pampa is located in the heart of soho since 1999, the first Argentinian steak house in Hong Kong. According to the manager, it has been importing prime beef cuts and succulent chorizos from Argentina since the very beginning. The menu has variety of Argentinian dishes ranging from beefsteaks, roast beef, sausages to fish, lamb and chicken, a lot of great choices for dinners. Sirloin (4/10)
The sirloin has great colour, hence the flavour was great. But it lacked a bit of seasoning, perhaps I prefer slightly saltier. The steak was cooked to rare, pink, very nicely done. The texture was great; the inside was not stone cold. However, if the chef can cook the side as well, would just be perfect, and add in a wee bit of butter to finish it. The quality of food is outstanding, you would be surprise, and however, the service is pretty awful.
Give me a thumbs up if you like it!
