very nice restaurant, we have very well give.le staff and the chef was very charming and very attentivethe food was so much better than we had imagined before coming!we took the tasting Menu and wine pairingthe plates were not small! and very fresh ingredients.the crusted pate was great! and the superb beef croquettes. l very good egg too. we will return quickly it seems the menu changes every 6 weeks!

The bistro is nicely decorated but quite small and crowded than expected. I was originally arranged to sit right outside the exit of the kitchen, where basically made it impossible for servers to get in and out of the kitchen without banging my chair!!! 3-course lunch set price around $170-$300. We ordered a butternut soup and organic green salad for appetiser. Salad is simple and quite fresh, soup is hot and quite creamy.

The main course offers a range of quite traditional French dishes, I had the homemade duck confit, which is impressive indeed!! It is tasty with some herbal flavour, greasy but not too greasy. My friend ordered the grilled seabass which is also delicious. Portion size is generous.

For dessert we ordered the chocolate fondant, a bit disappointing when there’s no chocolate sauce filling burst out when cutting the cake.

Overall the food quality is good, the place is convenient and good for causal lunch.

星期五晚同女友黎灣仔試試食法國餐,位置夠就腳,新裝修環境唔錯!試左個beef tarta生牛肉入面混合洋蔥,酸豆,番茄醬,芥末好夾酸酸甜甜幾開胃!然後叫左tuna asparagus吞拿魚夠新鮮,露旬亦煮得剛好,有咬口甜品食左朱古力心太軟,配雲呢拿雪糕好重朱古力味,雪糕亦都好味,問侍應先知原來雪糕係自家製!食完晒坐係到傾陣計,冇耐鬼佬大廚行黎問呢餐點,有咩改善可以同佢講,都幾細心。總結黎講呢間餐廳值得一試,味道都值番個價錢,兩個人$500零埋單

We were here for a wine dinner event they advertised with high hope , not only the wine portion is miserable, it is totally not worthy at all. Moreover, they charged us extra for the water which we did not know. Even the water bottles were opened and drank by other tables.We already paid for the food and drink for over 5000 HKD for a party of six, they chased us outside for the water which we were not aware of, it really embarrassed us and our guests.They said they do not care, but I will ban t

we had dinner last week in this small french wanchai restaurant.we were very well received the manager and the .chef are on the lookoutthe beef rating was superb. very well cooked and the entrees too. everything was perfectWe will gladly come back. From beginning to end a very pleasant French dinner with friends.

As a wine enthusiast and professional that works in the wine trade, I had heard a lot of great things about this restaurant since it opened up. Great selection of wine, big interesting list all sold at retail prices, opened by a seasoned chef and his wife who is a certified Sommelier. So I was very much looking forward to trying it out. So I was very much looking forward to trying it out. To my disappointment the restaurant was tiny, which wasn't a big deal, but tables were tiny, seats were cramped, with everybody sitting within centimetres apart from each other. Some tables had to be shifted left and right in order to get through and sit down. It was chaos.

Trying to keep an open mind, I sat down. We were given just the one menu between us for a table of two. Fine, we can share and take turns to read the menu. The wine list was a bit simple, maybe about 30 different wines, not quite the 600 I was told when I contacted them online earlier. Prices were quite fair, probably around retail price + a little on top. We were quickly given bread and water but had to wait about ten minutes before we could find a waiter to take our order. I ordered a bottle of champagne, which after another ten minutes of waiting we decided to flag someone down to ask where the bottle was, which took a while too since there were only two waiters who were taking orders or serving food and drinks etc in a busy restaurant that seated about 25 people. After another 5 minutes of waiting it finally came and I was showed the bottle which appeared to be what I ordered but in the end it wasn't. Same producer but cheaper. The waiter quickly opened the bottle was poured us two glasses without letting either of us taste the wine first which should be standard etiquette in any restaurant, and especially in a restaurant whose selling point is in their professional standards for wine. To my disappointment the champagne wasn't even cold...it was perhaps just a little colder than room temperature, but definitely not chilled. Quite speechless to be honest.

The starters came relatively quickly but the main course took a bit more time but not outrageously slow either so that can be forgiven. The food I must admit is good, but given the service and the cramped chaotic environment we were in, it just didn't match. I've been to small French bistros (bistro du vin is much better) before in hk and as busy as they get, it was never as chaotic as this place, and the people who serve you definitely know wine service. These guys clearly didn't have a clue or at least were way too busy or pressured to consider it important for that evening at least. For the price and quality, there are so many more options to find in hk and this certainly didn't live up to my expectations. It seemed like fine dining within a dai pai dong. They need more staff and more organisation. But more importantly, if you are going to be charging these kinds of prices then you cannot squash as many tables and chairs as you can into a tiny room like that. Regardless of the quality of the food, nobody can enjoy a meal out like that. If you're a wine lover, then avoid this restaurant at all costs.

今晚有兩道主菜,一魚一肉。

其中第一道是香煎吞拿魚。這道菜的火喉掌握得很出色,外層煮得十分香口,又半熟的肉質鬆軟,味道鮮甜又濃厚,相比白酒反而更襯紅酒。餐廳配的,便是紅酒 Joseph Drouhin Bourgogne Laforet Pinot Noir, 2016

而豐富的沙律,令整道菜的畫面更美。開胃的紅莓醋汁、黑橄欖、新鮮西柚 …… 特別喜歡蘆筍,又爽又甜,選料方面值得一讚。

After a 15 day trip to Asia, very happy to eat a french meal.we ate there even better than in some restaurant in France.we ate an exceptional $ 168 lunch menu and a 4-course tasting menu for $ 488.the chef came to see us in the middle of the meal. very good time we have passed.thanks to the whole team

we came for a working lunch. The meal was great. the room team very attentive. It was our first time in the new winebeast bistro.we are always well received by Cristina and Johan.and it's always the best value for money in the neighborhood.The camembert salad fried and the bib always excellent. since 3 years we go there and it is always so good.

Smaller portions than before,set lunch price from past $148 to $168 currently and this price is not including tea/coffee, really disappointed with that. The side dish of beef bavette from 3 potatoes ball change to 2. The bread is better than before, but still worse, not fresh enough. The butter not tasty or even is unsalted one, before is not like that. The green salad very bad, the vinegar too sour, it can do better for adjusting the dressing or sauce. Anyway, won’t back again, bye!

先送來的麵包有白和啡心兩款,兩款的包心均是粗氣洞、軟韌富筋性,肯定是我倆喜歡的麵包類型,不抹牛油已十分好吃!包邊帶焦香,惜未能保持香脆,否則就是完美!

吞拿魚他他味道鮮清,魚肉沒剁成末狀,而是口感較強的粗粒,配上橄欖油和蔥花等,放在頭位,先嚐它倒是錯不了!

牛肉他他味道較濃厚,調味做得不錯,既能挑起食慾、亦能帶出牛肉的鮮味,跟吞拿魚他他的清鮮來一個大大的對比!

旁邊的鴨肉餅,肉香不錯,唯質感過於扎實,顯得有點乾!

名為紅菜頭沙律,我覺得它像紅菜頭雪葩多一點,尤其是酸甜無菜腥的味兒,非常討好,再加上清爽滑溜,如吃著美味雪葩的感覺,中間藏著紅菜頭粒,醒神開胃,稱心無比!紅菜頭沙律馬上成為我的大愛!

另一款前菜是 Chicken and Snail Croquette (HK$138),跟 Frapas Platter 裡的鴨肉餅一樣,略嫌乾了一點點,說不定不介意肉感的朋友會喜歡這種肉肉的口感!

採用磨菇,蒜、蕃荽烹謂的蝸牛卻多汁、味濃,跟雞肉餅伴著吃也不錯!

主菜在毫無懸念下選擇了 Homemade Duck Confit(HK$248)。鴨腿外層鬆化脆口、帶著恰好的鴨脂酥香,一咬已叫人心動!腿肉是一絲絲的細嫩口感,沾一點點由香杏與蘋果烹煮的醬汁,微酸與果香將似有還無的膩意再壓下去,老實說一點也不膩,還可以多來一隻令人回味的鴨腿!

我心中想著鵝肝,可惜老公要來了 Iberico Pork Cheek & Rib (HK$268)!不要多咀,還他選擇的權利和自由,免得又變成了極權港女!一件豬面頰兼附一件豬肋骨,買大送小似的,似乎很化算!我倆也較喜歡軟腍的豬面頰,豬肋骨反而有丁點繃硬的感覺,真奇怪!

千萬不要錯過青豆蓉,做得很出色,非常美味!

可能天生沒有第二個胃,所以甜品一向不是我的強項!經侍應推介,我們要了 72% Dark Chocolate Fondant (HK$88),配搭雲呢拿雪糕、香脆的榛子和濃郁的榛子醬,感覺還不錯!

Quack Quack Quack 今年的鴨腿婚又在我倆的歷程中刻下一個記號,不一定是豪華濃重、花費不菲才會留下記憶,但願我們都是喜歡、隨心、順意的過著每一天,這便已是大滿足了!

P.S. 看到別的客人的主菜很吸引,下回有再去的必要!

之前在軒尼詩道小學隔離時間,樓底高,酒櫃佈置很美有特色,坐得闊落。現在新店枱與枱太迫,沒什麼特色。一搬了就加價。原先$150 加一有三個courses 連飲品,現在$160加一,二個courses 連甜品或飲品。之前pork cheek 唔駛加錢,現在要加$80。此外,之前湯碟很精美,現在一個湯碗就算,甜品碟同吞拿魚碟用同一款。另一主菜牛肉連薯球,就少了一粒薯球。之前食心太軟流心超好吃,外脆內軟流心剛好,現實只食到沒有流心的朱古力蛋糕。未搬之前食過幾次,覺得回味無窮,現在沒有下次了。

此外,之前湯碟很精美,現在一個湯碗就算,甜品碟同吞拿魚碟用同一款。另一主菜牛肉連薯球,就少了一粒薯球。之前食心太軟流心超好吃,外脆內軟流心剛好,現實只食到沒有流心的朱古力蛋糕。未搬之前食過幾次,覺得回味無窮,現在沒有下次了。

做得饞吃鬼當然要周圍覓食,平的貴的都要試吓!而今晚就約多3位foodie 姊妹去試呢間灣仔新開ge西餐廳。呢間餐廳係其中一位foodie 朋友book,佢其實都早咗2星期訂,話因為個廚都應該有D名氣,所以雖然新,但成日full booking。去到見到餐廳細細,裝修都幾warm 同decentMenu 上的菜式唔算太多,一版睇哂,但如果係好食,咁其實唔駛太多choice,貴精不貴多前菜點咗個platter,有beef 同tuna 嘅tartare,味道好鮮又開胃,而特別ge仲有紅菜頭沙律,同平時切粒咁食好唔同,係茸狀,其實咁上都好靚好特別,我除咗食都鐘意煮,所以都學到野主菜方面我哋點咗沙甸。其實如果你問我,呢樣未必係我會揀嘅菜式,因為我成日覺沙甸好腥,但朋友覺得好少餐廳有呢個餸同做得好,所以佢反而想試吓。不過佢呢個選擇都係啱嘅,因爲唔好話腥,佢做味道同combination都配合得唔錯而呢個火炙吞拿魚配煎鵝肝都幾有驚喜,吞拿魚半熟程度恰到好處,鵝肝就普普通通,但我鐘意佢用咗白桃同一D雜莓做配菜,夾埋一齊食成個味道好balance!最後,我哋仲點咗個又愛又恨的rib eye。愛就梗係份牛

而呢個火炙吞拿魚配煎鵝肝都幾有驚喜,吞拿魚半熟程度恰到好處,鵝肝就普普通通,但我鐘意佢用咗白桃同一D雜莓做配菜,夾埋一齊食成個味道好balance!

最後,我哋仲點咗個又愛又恨的rib eye。愛就梗係份牛ge質素同熟度係非常好,我本身鐘意食肥少少同筋位,但其他朋友則喜歡啖啖肉,900g嘅呢份牛絶對滿足到大家。恨ge就係自己個胃太細,之前又點咗其他野食,所以最後都有少少剩(雖然佢話係二人份量,但真心覺得portion幾大,除非唔order 其他野,否則應該清唔哂)。而且有沙律同蘑菇做的side dishes,一樣好出色

但如果你要我講呢間餐廳麻麻ge地方,就應該係佢可以真係客多,又想做多輪生意,所以有waitress 見我哋食牛嘅速度有D減慢ge時候就話不如同我哋pack起佢takeaway,真係幾odd同有趕客feel...

Nice French bistrot in the heart of Wanchai. The tasting menu we selected was really delicious, definitely will come back again!

一直喜歡此店。得知它最近搬往地舖,就在灣仔福臨門附近,天地圖書對面,所以去捧場。三道菜午餐168元,每道菜都有得揀,特別項目會貴少少。雖然基本收費比以前略貴,不過食物質素如以往一樣高。帶子薄片的頭盤很美。主菜方面,食材好,配菜也多。我們喜歡生牛肉他他,配幼薯條,簡直好吃到無朋友。甜品絕不馬虎,伴以雪糕,wonderful!如果時間充足,不妨晚上三五知己晚上試吓 tasting menu,可以慢慢吃,又有 wine pairing。
