I was happy that a new branch of Morty’s opened up on Star Street - as it is more accessible to me. However, I realised their menu is more limited, and there was no soup selection which was disappointing, as I do like a small bowl of deli soup to accompany my sandwich. I also tried to deviate from the norm and ordered a breakfast bagel instead of a sandwich with fries. The portion of fries were large, too large, for a single person. Next time I’ll come with more people just to split these fries

Classic Pastrami $118 Classic New York Style，Pastrami肉質柔軟，不過略嫌煙燻味唔突出。每一啖都係肉，食肉獸一定喜歡🤣大家可以根據自己口味揀廋牛肉，半肥廋同偏肥。推介大家一定要試Morty's Poutine $88厚切薯條上淋滿homemade gravy，車打芝士同pastrami，好惹味，gravy味道似 brown sauce 絕對係成碟薯條既精髓。連唔鐘意食薯條既我都食到停唔到口

Okay, so if you've looked at my profile and previous reviews, you know I have kind of a thing for burgers (I love them and they are my savoury comfort food of choice). So I was therefore pretty excited to see that Morty's had added burgers to some of its menus and had to get down and try one.I went for a weekend lunch and was at first aghast that the burger I'd planned to eat was not of the menu I was presented. Turns out that's only on the dinner menu, at least in the Star St Precinct location.

星期六的金鐘，brunch時間人流少，餐廳有sofa位，坐位雖有限，但尚算寬敞，侍應姐姐都有笑容。二人各一個large meat sandwich，牛肉和鴨肉。對我來講Large又唔係想像甘large，一般女生應該選regular就ok。Salad薯條2選一，前者新鮮清清地配肉非常好，menu話pickles係unlimited但無嘗試額外加碼，因為原本都有一大條。至於牛肉，肉質不硬，可以非常順利地一大啖咬落去，感受層層牛肉的質感(真 大大口)。包係硬身，個人鍾意軟身包，但要夾重份量牛又配芝士，硬身比較適合，鍾意食牛的人不會失望。男友和我都愛牛，所以偏心牛，鴨肉的食評就擱置眼見GBP升返11的時候，短期內又無法重遊英國。正當特別記掛London的Beigel Bake(雖然人地個牛質感完全唔同，覺得佢似火腿扒 )，食個類似都唔錯呀(邊度似!?)如果發現到香港有更類似的就好囉淨講今次個sandwich，即刻有位前提下，一定有下次。

This is a neat deli. There are three TVs and a mixture of counter seats, high tables and booths. There is also seating outside at the back, in a lane way which is surprisingly well lit in the middle of the day. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the menu is straightforward. Our group of five had comfortable seating in one of the booths. Our order included the Ultimate Grilled Cheese sandwich, the club sandwich, the breakfast bagel, the classic pastrami and the Reuben sandwich. These

在大佛口一帶，即現在太古廣場3期一帶，近年也發展成一個新興的商業區。隨著區內越來越多外國人在附近上班，這一帶的食肆也越來越西化，也成為附近上班族的食宴和食tea好去處。這次點了漢堡包配薯條和鴨肉沙律，前者是西式風格，後者的鴨肉以中式調理，甚具特色。由於這次是在下午餐時段幫襯，人流不算多，頗適合進行商務下午茶，一邊食一邊傾談商業大計。值得一讚是這裡的飲品，不論冷熱，皆可無限添飲，方便人客坐耐一點，傾耐一點，感覺良好。

You can come to Morty's for real legit New York style diner sandwiches. The environment is also quite cozy. The rest of the sides are overall not too exciting and don't taste particularly memorable - fries, side salads, soups, main salads etc. I rather just get a sandwich and not bother with the rest. It's a shame because sometimes the soup in delis make them all the more better. I tried the grilled cheese and turkey sandwich, it was yummy and generous portions. 

Happy Friday，食家同事話要食得開心啲，Send 咗個Openrice網址黎，明明新開，咩都無得睇，就盲目跟從。雖然灣仔分店係新開，但係原來中環嗰個都開咗一陣子，似乎都唔錯。參考中環啲相，我就揀咗Reuben。Reuben 三文治係有煙燻過嘅片片牛肉，仲有千島醬，配烤過嘅麥包。不同於牛肉漢堡扒，層層疊疊嘅半肥牛肉片，個口感特別。半肥牛肉口感似煙肉，但肉質鬆軟好多，入口有少少鬆化感覺，仲有好重牛油牛肉味！加埋千島醬，fresh 嘅味道可以中和牛嘅油膩感。仲有烤過嘅麥包，鬆脆而唔硬，吸咗少少牛油香味。感覺所有野都巧妙地運用，值得推介。不過，我嗰盤薯條，略嫌炸得太耐，炸得太乾太硬。

Went there with some friends last night! Happy hour 3pm to 8pm! A pint of beer only cost $45-55! We all had burgers! Mine was the smoke blue cheese burger ($148), and the price includes a choice of sides. I chose sweet potato fries! The fries were a bit cold, but the burger was amazing. 2 patties of beef, and so juicy! Reubens also looked good! I'll definitely come back!
