I have a long craving for Hawaiian poke bowls. This shop has been popular since the old days and I’m glad that it’s still in business. Picked the signature poke bowl with two types of fish: spicy mayo tuna and marlin! Added Hawaiian nuts and tempura crunches; edamame beans, seaweed and whatnots. I couldn’t recall which fruit bites I chose, either green mangoes or pineapples, this was definitely the soul of the whole bowl, as the refreshing crunchy bites brighten up the entire bowl of rice. The marinated fish sashimi was served in huge chunks and made me satiated. It’s a little pricey but the portion was really quite large. It would be even better if they can make the rice softer. Cooked toppings like chicken/ ribs/ pulled porks were available as well.

I ordered the tuna poke bowl with hard boiled egg, pickled ginger and broccoli crown - a simple combination of flavors that let the fresh tuna shine through. The portions were large enough to satisfy my appetite without feeling overly full. The full bowl consisted of a generous mound of high quality, high-grade tuna on a bed of perfectly cooked rice. The toppings of sliced egg, diced broccoli and pickle ginger added brightness, crunch and acidity that complemented the rich tuna and rice. The flavors were fresh and balanced - not overloaded with sauce which can mask the natural taste of the tuna.For those watching their weight or following a protein-focused diet, Pololi's poke bowls provide a nutritious and satisfying meal option. In addition to white rice, they also offer salad bases to accommodate various dietary preferences. The high quality ingredients, from the fresh fish to the crisp vegetables, come together in a wholesome bowl that hits the spot without weighing you down. I will definitely be back to try Pololi's other poke bowls and recommend them for a healthy, clean eating lunch or dinner. The price is average central one - cannot complain when you are eating at soho.

平时叫外卖都会order poke bowl食，今次真系有少少无奈。明白有时外卖menu会有少少出错，见到饭底只可以拣白饭本身有少少却步，因为平时其他餐厅都系有得配寿司饭多。咁就决定上OpenRice search menu，见到menu都系拣糙米，沙律，同寿司饭，而寿司饭既英文系white rice, 谂住包冇死点外卖既white rice，点知一食都真系白饭黎，有d失望。不过最失望系点左柚子味松香三文鱼，因为腌料入面系包埋芫茜，我完全食唔到芫茜，成餐饭就系叫撩走。觉得店舖方面要多加留意，因为芫茜既话，都真系未必个个受，但只字不提，本身汁系好ok的，所以可以改善下。
