熱菜入面最唔鍾意食就係呢個🤣有好多骨,雖然可以食埋,但係唔係好鍾意個口感🥹味道其實ok🤣

🇫🇷 The first thing I stepped inside, I already loved the ambience of this contemporarily designed French restaurant..🥖The basket of breads were all amazing. From a simple bread roll to the bread stick, all having their specific and unique texture. 🥖The basket of breads were all amazing. From a simple bread roll to the bread stick, all having their specific and unique texture. The breads were all served very warm and the homemade butters were very tasty too 🧈

🧆The Amuse bouche started of the meal nicely. Not exactly knowing what they were, one of them I felt was a piece of sun dried tomato Focaccia with a piece of cherry tomato placed on top. It tasted delicious, and rich in tomato flavour. The other was like a tartar sauce tartare served with a piece of French fry.

🥑 I tried out the Japanese Scallop Tartare. Manager Roy said that it was essential to dig the spoon all the way down and scoop up the scallop, avocado paste along with the caviar on top in order to fully experience the flavour and I’m glad I followed his instructions because the scallops and avocado paste did not have much flavour on its own, but when combined with the saltiness from the caviar, all the flavours were automatically uplifted and made this dish extremely palatable.

🐌 The French Escargot Roll was another amazing dish. The escargots were wrapped with a very light and thin and extremely crispy piece of puff pastry. The whole experience and texture was just astounding.

🍝 Then came the Black Truffle Gemelli. The truffle slices were very thin and aromatic. The pasta texture was lovely and chewy, and the sauce wasn’t overdone either.

🐑 As the main, I had the Rack of Lamb, one of the best rack of lambs I’ve eaten. I asked for the lamb to be medium and the lamb quality was very good. The meats were astonishingly tender and succulent, and the texture was not too chewy. The sauce was smooth and delicious too!

👨‍🍳 My experience here was very pleasurable. Not only was the food astonishing, but the service was amazing, and I also got to meet the head chef and owner Shun. I highly recommend this place!

Leaving those 2-star, 3-stars Michelin restaurants in the dust, Shun offers superior dishes with “real food”, good portion, exceptional good taste. I have been to quite a few so-called Michelin starred restaurants and more than once I feel disappointed. Those places are so over-rated, petty on the portion and not even delicious. I highly recommend Shun restaurant. It has a lot of respect to its diners and is serious about food. It is for the real gourmets. I want to go back again already!

第一印象給我,是一間高級精緻的餐廳
地點坐落銅鑼灣聖保祿醫院附近
高格調,很親民🤣🤣

午餐菜牌,$488,四道菜
賣相十分精緻,味道很有層次

現在精緻嘅法國餐在香港不多,加上價錢很公道

講返食物,
第一道菜係carpaccio 新鮮劍魚薄片配上芝麻醬,清新得很
第二道菜,椰菜花湯,很smooth 的cream soup 上面加了日本溫泉蛋,出奇地夾
主菜,朋友加錢及預早安排一只free range chicken !
雞肉嫩滑,外皮香脆,配菜新鮮好味😋
甜品: Pineapple Parfait 加士多啤梨

食完呢個午餐,開心又滿足

同經理傾咗一輪,老闆大有來頭

他之前是香格里拉酒店Petrus 華人主廚及Amuse Bouche restaurant 老闆,唔怪得知出品咁有水準

已經約了下一次再去食,期望再有一次美好的體驗

有格調又好味嘅法餐特別的聚餐選擇咗這間美食家朋友推荐的新開的法國餐廳,果然好好味😋約咗星期六中午,按照地址找咗一陣,原來個入口唔係銅鑼灣道,係信德街,即係大快活隔離個條街入去。好有格調嘅門口,入去之後,無想到竟然full哂。好彩book佐位。門口那邊有好有特色的裝飾,不但靚,仲聽講是風水擺設👍🏻入座後,服務好周到,我哋揀咗lunch set meal。先上咗店家自制嘅面包,有咸有甜,仲配有三款butter,紫菜同辣味配松軟香身嘅面包都好味。我嘅Appetiser Shrimp Vavioli非常惊艷,第一啖入口,鮮蝦fresh 爽口,面皮嘅軟硬度剛剛好,彈牙且充分融有濃香嘅醬汁,回味無窮。個湯係蘑菇湯,除咗碎碎嘅蘑菇碎,仲有大大粒嘅四分之一大嘅蘑菇仔,令到口感丰富好多。Main course 點咗US Rib Eye,無唸到竟咁大一份,品質、成熟度、軟硬都剛剛好,是我係HK吃到嘅牛扒中可以排前几位之一。我哋点咗一支红酒配,正😄吃得好滿足,傾得好開心,上埋desert and tea/coffee,完美嘅一餐。下次想再來試吓a la carte menu先😉

入座後,服務好周到,我哋揀咗lunch set meal。先上咗店家自制嘅面包,有咸有甜,仲配有三款butter,紫菜同辣味配松軟香身嘅面包都好味。

我嘅Appetiser Shrimp Vavioli非常惊艷,第一啖入口,鮮蝦fresh 爽口,面皮嘅軟硬度剛剛好,彈牙且充分融有濃香嘅醬汁,回味無窮。

個湯係蘑菇湯,除咗碎碎嘅蘑菇碎,仲有大大粒嘅四分之一大嘅蘑菇仔,令到口感丰富好多。

Main course 點咗US Rib Eye,無唸到竟咁大一份,品質、成熟度、軟硬都剛剛好,是我係HK吃到嘅牛扒中可以排前几位之一。我哋点咗一支红酒配,正😄

吃得好滿足,傾得好開心,上埋desert and tea/coffee,完美嘅一餐。下次想再來試吓a la carte menu先😉

City Oasis 5-star experience from Starter to Dessert. High quality of food and presentation. We enjoyed so much. Value for money. Pampering your self for an extraordinarily dinning experience.

識得嚟呢間新開餐廳的,都是老闆兼總廚的捧場食客。今天趁情人節,訂位同老婆撐吓枱腳。可能新開張兼疫情關係比較清靜,但卻讓我們好好地享受了一個超值的高質午餐。太座點了鵝肝前菜,主菜鵪鶉脾意大利飯。鵝肝唔使講,意大利飯是少有的高質素,芝士份量沒有像意大利餐廳般濃厚,反而突出了牛油和上湯的香味,軟硬程度剛剛好,這功力可能比五星級酒店的餐廳還要好。因為戒飯關係,我點了豬腩肉加香腸酸菜。來自法國的豬腩肉,先慢煮再煎香。無論賣相同味道都一流,就算邪惡都要食咗再算。午餐好似共有五款選擇,都算多啦,太多反而驚兼顧不了會中伏。加個湯飲埋酒連加一盛惠千一。比起一般只有賣相的 fine dining,這類更重視食材的質素和烹調的功夫,絕對值得一試。

New restaurant taking up the space left by da domenico. Restaurant is named after the experienced chef Shun, who specializes in French cuisine but also did a brief stint at Happy Valley Angelo.Love the bread. Particularly noteworthy was the blue colored one made with the flower butterfly pea (蝶豆花). The butter trio was nice too. I liked the seaweed butter the most. Angel hair with sea urchin and caviar. I guess no surprises there since a lot of restaurants are making it now. Apparently the red spicy stuff on the side gave a good kick but I didn’t try tho.

Razor clam and cuttlefish shaped like fettuccini (a la carte). A very rich balanced mixture of diced chorizo, bottarga, green beans etc.

Scampi and snails in egg yolk sauce (a la carte). A lot of sides like morel mushrooms, fois gras, generous portions of caviar on the scampi; deep fried potato in the middle.
