The Flying Pan (已搬遷) 新店位置

認識Flying pan，是因為讀大學的時候身邊的同學都很愛吃，還曾經與好友一同走堂到中環吃。說味道其實算不上美味，我想最大的原因只是方便吧，加上它是24小時⋯出來工作後已甚少到這裡，但前陣子轉了工，恰巧公司附近有一間Flying Pan，使得我久不久也會來懷緬一下過去。這天跟同事來吃個lunch，想不到它只是從駱克道的霸田商業中心搬到美國萬通附近，人流卻有如此大分別。還記得之前在霸田時，即使是繁忙的lunch hour也不用排隊，座位任揀之餘，還可以吃個寧靜的午飯。但搬了新地點後，沒想到竟然出現人龍，而且整個環境可以用吵得拆天來形容。等位已經等了大概十五分鐘左右啊，由於用膳時間不多，我們也不敢多心，趕緊下單。等啊等，等啊等，等了足足半小時食物還未來，這時已經一時四十五分了，唯有催催單，她對我們說我們前面還有兩枱，大概要等多五分鐘。怎料，不斷見到侍應來來往往奉餐，我們數著已差不多有十盤了！怎樣算也超過兩枱客了吧？結果我們的食物在兩時才送到。這次點了Corn beef harsh，朋友說在香港不是很多店有corn beef harsh吃，他來的目的也是為了它，我想，這該是這店最有價值和最

見到咁多正評，朋友又話好適合傾計，決定一試。menu好似好多選擇，不過其實都係同一堆items既不同組合。想食三文魚又想食波菜，諗左好耐都係要左波菜＋煙肉egg benedit，如果有波菜＋三文魚就好喇另外仲可以簡兩個side dishes同一杯果汁。不過一切開個egg benedit都幾失望……一隻蛋得少少流心，一隻直程全熟！！side dishes就不過不失，冇驚喜冇意外杯芒果汁就完全not my cup of juice，好甜好甜，而且係死甜朋友杯荔枝汁就幾好飲晚餐時段冇乜人的確幾好坐。但係想享受美食就唔多推薦喇

First time in their new location in Wan Chai, large windows, great for watching the busy city goes by. The interior design is like a typical US diner.The portion is big, it came with bread, 2 sides and juice. You need to upgrade your juice, the complementary one is only a sip for most adults.  說起egg benedit，第一時間會想起這間，今天決定前來拜訪.......看見門口，貼了一張告示，表明只招待會員，我們呆一呆，不是吧 ??!!在網上搜尋了一會，決定內進向職員查詢，結果原來任何顧都歡迎，但為會要貼這張誤導的告示呢?Menu確實有點複雜，用了10多分鐘，才下了決定 。和友人點算了一份English breakfast和最傳統的egg benedit，每份早餐包含了一杯飲品。English breakfast的賣相一點也不吸引，感覺很不豐富 。但每款食物的質素不錯，特別是蘑菇和煙肉 。Egg benedit的蛋帶有很重的白醋酸味，明白煮蛋的時候要加點白醋，才能有流心的效果，但醋的味道實在太強烈了 。說實在，的確有點失望，又或是之前的期望太高，才會有失望吧!

首次來吃午餐。點了牛油果+salsa+jalapeño 漢堡。牛油果剛好熟透，我最喜歡的 jalapeño 也辣得好吃。可惜漢堡牛肉感覺似熟非熟，而且每口都是細筋。加上沒有調味又沒肉味，吃了兩口已經放棄。那杯混濁得放了不知多久的菠蘿汁，也許是罐頭食品的關係，喝下去就是一般喝到罐頭菠蘿汁的味道。

店雖然在灣仔，但是在一個不大商務樓的內部，挺難找的。原本像放棄，不過幸好最後如願找到啦。兩個人點了兩分食物外加一個甜品，吃很飽。baked egg半生，和烤麵包一起食很讚，切開時蛋黃會流出來。也嘗試了采莓醬抹在烤麵包上，比較甜。burger上面的cheese超級香，肉，雞蛋，麵餅cheese一起簡直超贊。baked beans okay啦，挺好吃的。色拉普通，清淡。超級抵食，那日未食晚餐。環境一般般把，比較casual，感覺並不是很整潔，衛生也感覺一般般。我個人很喜歡甜品啊，ice banana和waffle要一起吃才最有味。會比較甜，但是我很喜歡啦。

Decided to try out their all day breakfast after reading the reviews. Ordered their english breakfast and grilled steaked with poached eggs. The english breakfast was average. I think macdonald breakfast is better than this. As for the grilled steaked with poached eggs, there was just too much gravy and the taste was disgusting. The combination is just not right! It was the second time I visited this place. I had a 'Golden Sunset Burger' and it was by far one of the best burgers I've ever had. The meat was so tasty and juicy. For once the content of the burger didn't actually fall out of the bread which was a relief, and it was so easy to eat - which may not seem too impressive but for once my fingers didn't get too grubby when eating it, which was definitely a plus.
