tea set竟然比半島貴, $398 for two. 看看menu上嘅tea set
可以話一啲都唔吸引, 連相片上嘅cakes都襬得求其,
實在好難說服到我俾$400食tea set

但之前收晒我哋餐具個女侍應一見佢拎俾我哋, 即刻怒視住佢,
個男侍應見到都停咗手一陣. 於是我爸爸就俾番個怒視look佢
佢先行開. 點解今時今日嘅服務態度可以咁差?

size係我食過嘅scone最細嘅
一摸, 點解軟淋淋嘅?

食落去更係冇scone嘅粉感, 絕無質感可言
簡單黎講佢係一個海綿蛋糕, 唔揸嘢就咁食更加只有麵粉味

唔係難食, 但唔講都唔會知係scone. 最好嘅係佢夠暖
clotted cream, strawberry jam, apricot jam同一般嘅一樣, 相信都係來貨
份量只係啱啱夠用

慶幸冇叫到tea set, 因為實在好唔容易先食得晒
見隔離抬嘅tea set, sandwich賣相好似自己係屋企整嘅一樣,
中層嘅心形cake同黃色macaroon擺得稀疏
見枱枱都食唔晒, 可想而知有幾好味
$398 可以免了

另一個叫tracy嘅女侍應服務就唔錯, 見我家姐飲完杯朱古力就主動俾杯水佢
仲幫我哋嘅茶refill

賣單$230, 去半島享受佢好幾倍嘅服務同食物好過了
一定唔會再黎

哈哈哈,都已經三月了才補寫這個是不是有點過分但是突然在翻看上個月的照片看到就突然很有興致 : P我喜歡那裡的環境,平常去喝酒應該也很不錯靜靜的很舒服,那次喝的白酒味道很好基本上麵包我不會覺得不好吃哈哈哈那個長條形的脆脆的這個一定是整個晚上我最喜歡的它來的時候是只有那些Scallops dice和bacon foam在然後侍應生就會倒那些湯在上面過了那麼久,我還是想念這湯甜甜的好creamy,那些帶子好味到傻哈哈哈鵝肝,對不起,我真的不懂欣賞你我知道很多人愛吃,但是我真的只懂覺得它味道像豬潤就連那次在Caprice吃的應該是比較好的,都還是不喜歡不過這裡的汁弄得挺好味,夠酸,和鵝肝配搭很好這個他他很不錯的和toast一起吃是蠔有點腥,但三文挺好這兩個main dish,是不過不失吧龍蝦是鮮甜的,但是下面的類似年糕的物體味道很怪哈哈哈牛是肉質鮮嫩的,但是總覺得有點騷味 :S最後是甜品,都是很raspberry味道的中和了main dish的膩,但沒有特別驚喜就是了唯一令人有點不滿意的是情人節是分2 rounds的,我們是第一輪訂位時已很清楚交待八時左右要交枱,是完全沒有問題的不過那晚的客人

鵝肝,對不起,我真的不懂欣賞你
我知道很多人愛吃,但是我真的只懂覺得它味道像豬潤
就連那次在Caprice吃的應該是比較好的,都還是不喜歡

情人節是分2 rounds的,我們是第一輪
訂位時已很清楚交待八時左右要交枱,是完全沒有問題的
不過那晚的客人不是很多,第二round的時候還是沒有full
當我們吃完main dish很久東西都已經收了很久後
侍應生卻突然很不好意思的說要交枱,說已經過了時間很久
但其實是他們遲遲也未上甜品 ...
我們跟她解釋後她好像很驚訝,但不是應該check check才跟客人說要結賬嗎
侍應生不是無禮的,只是這樣處理得讓人覺得不夠專業

雖然食物沒有太出眾,但是整個晚上卻很開心
因為這是我們第一個正式慶祝的情人節

十二月上旬.晴在一個寒冷但晴朗的中午,得贊助商及公關大員的邀請,來這裡參加新年及情人節發佈會的活動。是一個很精彩的發佈會(在下還勝出了朱古力設計比賽!),但之前先醫肚,就是餐廳的小點心。看上去很精緻,吃起來也很不錯。由左手數起的是雞蛋法包,上面的兩片漬菜增加味道,很不錯;右下的是風乾火腿多士,火腿軟熟鹹香,跟脆口的多士也配合得好;加上角的是蛋卷,味道濃郁好吃;上方的是魚肉,就有點腥。是非常不錯的安排,尤其對吃得不多,但又要吃東西的我來說,吃得精緻就最好了。

一說地方, 當天我們是坐在indoor , 比較迫!二說食物, 我們6個人點了二份afternoon tea set for 2 persons + 1份 afternoon sandwich, + 2 hot chocholate如果依這個格局, 食物是差, 因為起碼一半以上的cake 及 sandwich 都唔好食, 而且奇怪講明for 2 persons, 點解所有都係得一件, 要切開一人一半食. 個d食物已經好細, 仲要cut half, 完全食唔到味道! 比起鄰近的sheraton, interconternational, peninsula 等等應該屬於同grade 酒店就差好多啦...三服務, 不錯 遇到一位貌似DJ Jim 的服務員, 好有禮貌, 又主動追食物, 值得一讚!最後最差係個Toilet, 咁高貴地方, 三格廁所竟然有二格係out of order, 當天現場人頭踊踊, 又影結婚, 又影畢業, 最重要的地方竟然唔係馬上去修理, 攪到d 龍排到出門口, 上二樓問有無第二個toilet, 又被點番轉頭, 太差太差啦!6個人埋單1,200多, 咁o既價錢,

December is full of joy and cannot wait till 25th to celebrate. Gather 7 friends to have Champagne Brunch at Hullett House, where is a historical spot welcome by tourists, locals to take graduation, wedding photos. Very beautiful place and I feel like going back to Raffles Place in Singapore when I sit down at Parlour.I booked the outdoor area, 2 weeks in advance; and luckily, we had a nice weather.Free flow of Veuve Clicquot is what we craving for. Very beautiful place and I feel like going back to Raffles Place in Singapore when I sit down at Parlour.

I booked the outdoor area, 2 weeks in advance; and luckily, we had a nice weather.

Free flow of Veuve Clicquot is what we craving for. Some of us were expatriates working in Shanghai before, and we get used to have this kind of champagne brunch there. This trend happened earlier there than in HK, luxury weekend activity.

Cheers to start our first Christmas gathering, drinking under the sunshine


Appetizers are so attractive, every dish looks cute and tastes delicious
I specially like oysters, beef tartar, crab meat salad.

After several rounds of appetizers and glasses of champagne, time to order the main course. I choose the lamb and there are also tenderloin and salmon. Be honest, main course is really so so. We all request for medium / medium rare and all are Well-Done. The lamb has no lamb taste, oer-cooked; the tenderloin and salmon are over-cooked and no good.

Anyway, kind of expected because this type of semi-buffet, usually the main course is not finely done.

Dessert table looks good. I love cheese and there are so many types of cheese....so happy
and there is a heart shape dessert lychee taste,..very cute and yummy.

Service has improvement need, they are serving free flow champagne; however, they should offer glass of water to the customers without asking. They are willing to offer water, but just upon asking and need to wait a few minutes. For hotel service, I think this deducts a lot of credit.


Overall satisfied, will spare more time there are take more pictures.

我只是在中午時分試了一客伯爵茶,presentation很認真:奶是暖的,茶葉不少,不過泡得太久會苦的.餐具都是配套的.坐在古2的露台嘆兩個多小時也不會趕客,而且仍殷勤添茶,也許因為星期六中午客人太少吧.他們的服務態度很好,特別是門口的外籍知客小姐,好像是印尼或斯里蘭卡來的,很友善和健談,贊.

今日在一個懶洋洋的中午, 去到座落於尖沙咀前水警總部內,設計充滿濃厚殖民地色彩的 HULLETT HOUSE 食Sunday Brunch。這裡的 Sunday Brunch 由正午 12:15 開始,$528 + 10% 包任飲香檳、自助頭盤、湯、主菜、自助甜品及咖啡或茶。由於餐廳地方有限,所以每個星期日可以招待的客人數量也不多,,環境佈置是幾精緻的,不會有一種焗促的感覺,餐廳依然保留舊日的英倫風味, 裝潢華麗的中式枱椅加上英國維多利亞式的殖民地式建築,十分優雅醉人。簡單的講一下自助頭盤,我沒有試吃沙律,還是主攻自己喜歡吃的 Smoked Salmon 和Tuna,後者淋上配汁後味道更加豐富,值得一試。海鮮類的選擇有青口、蠔和大蝦,當中青口和蠔都夠新鮮,炭燒牛肉也有點 juicy 感覺,但我更欣賞這裡的中式點心,雖然不算得珍貴,但造得相當入味,好吃。薄餅賣相幾靚,新鮮熱棘。為了迎合萬聖節,是日餐湯只得一款,就是香濃南瓜湯,湯内的南瓜質感十足,甘甜可口,為必試首選!!主菜試了黑毛豬扒配意大利粉。厚切的黑毛豬略為過火,其肉質結實而不韌,總算不過不失。我喜歡其入口滑溜的質感,更喜歡那帶點酸

今日行街行到腳痺,行到海港城對面1881廣場,忍唔住塭地方坐下,原本想試爐端燒,不過朋友話要走先,自己食好似怪怪地.行到上面見到掛左南瓜燈籠嘅一間餐廳,d 佈置好似幾舒服,枱又唔太逼,就走去bar 枱坐低嗌杯cocktail飲,叫bar tender開杯果味重d嘅,佢就開左杯Rasberry 嘅cocktail,水準ok wor.唔会太少酒/太甜,啱啱好~飲完餓餓地就食埋晚餐,我選擇散叫.先黎1客home made嘅麵包,熱喇喇,就算我怕食法包嘅,佢都唔太硬,所以都幾好~湯我order左松露菌湯,佢地放左d芝士同cream喺碗底 ,waitress再將湯淋上面,幾滑味道夠香濃.主菜龍蝦意粉,我覺得幾新鮮,不過對於女仔黎講份量多左d,食唔晒,因為要留肚食甜品.bread pudding淋埋雲呢嗱汁加雪糕,都好食,不過個bread budding熱d仲正!整體上環境氣氛不錯,又唔太逼太嘈,佢地menu有afternoon tea 供應,有機會都会試試.

Yum yum… diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but what girl can say no to champagne on a veranda in glitzy TST? This place is so cool (or is it hot? I don't care...). Anyway, I loved it. The steak tartar doesn't come with a peppermill or stale bread - NO! It comes with a decent Bloody Mary shot!!! That's what I call "consumer-friendly" - hahaha... Just what the doctor ordered on a day after extended retail therapy in Harbour City.
As a main, I had the black cod filet. Just brilliant. Very juicy and tender, not too firm - not too mushy... just right. That miso paste coating was totally addictive and those little black things that looked like something from a liquorice allsorts bag were the most amazing “Gnocchi” made with black squid ink – cool ey?! And don’t let me get talking about those desserts…. Just one word: DELISH!!!! (well, half a word says it all…) – Somebody, please invite me back, I’m broke... ;-)))

作為business dinner venue,這裡的排場真是不錯。寬倘的private room內放置兩張12人長檯綽綽有餘,還有空位讓大家入席前chit-chat。今次作為被邀請的一方,留意到由門口signage以至customized menu都很認真,完全感受到主人家的心思。Menu內是個3 course dinner set,每個course均有三款選擇。我選了Lobster salad作appetizer,Rib-eye steak為main course,及Chestnut Parfait為dessert。Lobster salad選用新鮮的Maine Lobster配上mixed greens,加了點asparagus mayonnaise & orange dressing調味 ,很appetizing。Ribeye steak則有點令人失望,牛扒外圍還好,中間位置overcooked,而且不太入味。Chestnut Parfait其實是不錯,可是本人與幾位同事曾一起上興趣班,學過做類似的甜品,頓時覺得不外如是﹔而且我還覺得自己整的更好吃。 不是我自己誇口,其他同事也

其實我之前自己也來過吃下午茶,也大概知道這裡價格是甚麼級數。以此推斷,這餐應是pretty expensive。我想如果自己來晚膳的話,或許也負擔得起,但同價錢的話可能不會選這間了。當然,有人請客則另作別論。

兩樣都係 A La Carte Menu,散叫的,所以 Lunch / Dinner 都有,不過最好訂位時預留帶子,因為有次我哋去到剩低得番一份,我讓咗比個 Friend 食,個 Friend 又請我食番兩隻,非常美味!

I’ve been to The Parlour for a few times and enjoyed the high tea. I’ve never tried the dinner yet and this is the first time I went with my friend and tried the wine dinner.Crabmeat with cauliflower & grapefruit reduction: A cold soup indeed. To be honest, the taste is not bad at all but since we are Chinese and it’s very difficult for us to consume a cold soup. Crabmeat with cauliflower & grapefruit reduction: A cold soup indeed. To be honest, the taste is not bad at all but since we are Chinese and it’s very difficult for us to consume a cold soup. My recommendation is not to try if you really not a person who likes to explore!


Roasted French Pigeon confit with Plum Sauce: This is the WORST Pigeon confit I’ve ever tasted!!! The meat is not tendor and full of offensive smell. After the first bit, it has a very negative impact on your appetite and ask you to stop and not eat anymore. My recommendation is: NEVER ORDER!


Slow Cook Beef Cheek: This is the most ‘normal’ dish so far.... Meat is tendor with enough sauce to cover. Portion is small but still can cover my needs. However, due to the bad experience on the Pigeon confit, I’ve only bit a little bit and can’t eat anymore.


Creamy Jivara Chocolate with Green Apple Sorbet: The presentation of the sorbet is pretty good but the taste doesn’t match! You have to separate finish the chocolate and sorbet and if you mix together, taste is very odd. My recommendation is either to order the Green Apple Sorbet or direct go for chocolate cake.


Conclusion: I don’t think it’s worthwhile to buy a dinner at this outlet. It’s more worthwhile to spend on high tea or brunch!

星期六早上預訂了tea buffet. 3點到已有九成滿, 那天天氣很好, 不算熱, 我們選擇了坐在open air的位置. 地方裝修餐具都很到位. 可惜服務出奇的差.我們二人點了一個tea set, waiter 誤以為是兩份, 當我們堅持不是我們說錯, 他很不願意地取走其中一份, 之後我問他的問題都態度很差. 我終於忍唔住向經理投訴, 經理馬上道歉.英式的tea set, 款式則是 fusion, 其實味道很是不錯.可惜如很多 fine dining 餐廳, 無論花了多少錢去裝修, 但 service standard 強差人意, 配合不上.

I chose this place over the Peninsula's afternoon tea in hopes that the food would be comparable, and the view to be better. Well, the view was better - but the food was horrible, with the service atrocious. I chose this place over the Peninsula's afternoon tea in hopes that the food would be comparable, and the view to be better. Well, the view was better - but the food was horrible, with the service atrocious. The prices here are comparable with the higher end, but the service was only comparable to that of a local greasy spoon.

A beautiful sunset backdrop was the only thing to keep me calm and my spirits high.. but let me tell you about the food:

-My girlfriend and I ordered the Tea Set for 2

-3 flimsy plates of very average snacks and disappointing scones arrive in less than 5 minutes after ordering (and cold...)

-the selection was so ordinary and average, and the cup of coffee was the size of an espresso cup (no refills, either!)

-there was maybe 1 thin slice of cucumber in the cucumber sandwich, and the "set for 2" only comes with 1 mini-sized sandwich. was this really just the set for 1??

-The lemon tart was bad - and at a first bite, all you can taste was the stench of "chicken oil".

-i informed the waitress, and she just listened with a blank face, didn't even reply and just walked away

-after 10 minutes, a waiter comes over and tries to understand the situation - and he barely seemed apologetic to the situation. he did offer me a replacement lemon tart, but we had already settled the bill and was getting ready to walk out of the restaurant

I got a real kick out of how the maître d’ pretended there were no tables available when we walked up for a table for 2. There were over 5 tables in a row emptied and disappointed - side by side

By the way, I watched some Italian patron get utterly upset with their service as well, and he made a scene out of his frustration with the staff. So I don't think only I was disappointed
