Visited Bombana’s latest Italian restaurant for a lovely weekend lunch! Look at the stunning over-head hand-made air blown chandeliers and all the fine furnitures🤩 it felt like dining in Italy. Every touch was so refined with texture. It was the standard set by a 3-star Michelin Chef👨🏻🍳 and his starred team. The tableware were top notch too with so many different patterns. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 “𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲” was a carabinero pasta 🦐 that you cannot resist. The sauce was so rich with immense of umami. It was like drinking some red prawn bisque that I could still recall the flavour vividly. The pasta was of course al dente as anticipated. A flawless execution. Don’t forget to mop the sauce with their bread after the pasta 😆
The 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗲 🧀 was very authentic as if I was dining in Italy. It was nothing fancy but solidly delicious.
For appetizers, the 𝗠𝟱 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼 🥩 was very tasty. The cut of beef was fatty and tender. The whole combo of rocket paste, parmesan, onion and EVO was just perfect.
The 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 was decent but wished more of tomatoes🍅
Overall speaking, all the savoury dishes were very solid that you are guaranteed with a happy face leaving the restaurant. I wanted the Ragout so badly but they were sold out 🥲 even I was the second table there… it would be better if they could tell the customer what to pre-order given the menu was very limited🤦🏻♂️
Their 𝗧𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘂 was so authentically good too. It was very satisfying with dynamic flavours. The cream and mascarpone was very smooth with contrasting ladyfinger fully soaked with espresso. You are not eating dessert but satisfaction☺️
The 𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗚𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼 was like a crisp with caramelised apple on top. It tasted alright despite I preferred a real apple tart more! But I expected some home-made gelato instead of Movenpick (?)
As the name suggested, you should not miss the coffee☕️ in a cafe! It was very high quality with nice latte art. $28 in the Central area is perhaps the most competitive price I could find. Just do drop by for a casual or decent meal here and you will not be disappointed😉
