Thai Chicken Soup $55 with the choice of two toppings and noodles.
Order with shredded duck, shredded chicken and pad Thai noodles.
First off, the soup is so intensely flavorful! Love that rich aromatic taste of celery. It’s very clear and light but carries a lot of flavor and I can drink it by the bucket! Love the additional fried shallots and garlic that adds another depth of savory ness.
The noodles are springy and absorbent. A great vessel for the soup. Perfectly Al dente. Portion is reasonable for the price but I recommend adding a snack to leave satisfied as their lunch sets are a bit stingy. The noodles are springy and absorbent. A great vessel for the soup. Perfectly Al dente.
Other toppings included crunchy morning glory and very tender and flavorful radish and carrots. Both definitely cooked in the stock for extra flavor. I do wish there were more vegetables because I only got one small piece of each.
The shredded duck was a miss. Very tough with no taste at all. The shredded chicken though is amazing. So tender and tasty. They are also in slices and not thin shreds at all, this makes for great tender meat and the portion is quite generous.
The following week, I went back and got chicken as both my toppings and that was so good because you can never have enough chicken.
