Weekday 与父母来到沙田附近想找食午餐的地方,在新城市广场七楼一见到芽庄就决定要食,因为我们喜欢越南菜又食过其他分店(湾仔 和铜锣湾时代广场),对它有好的印象。食物方面,我们点了炸软壳蟹、镬仔煎薄饼、熟牛肉河及香茅牛肉捞檬,另外饮品点了咸柠梳打。炸软壳蟹维持了正常的水准,炸的香口,再加上青柠汁既不油腻又开胃,唯一少少不足就是份量少了点。镬仔煎薄饼—无论是薄饼皮还是馅料—都毫无味道,而附上用来包的菜不是生菜而是芥菜,味道像芥末,非常难食。熟牛肉河的牛肉腌得的味道怪怪的,不是平时芽庄的味道,牛肉汤底也是怪怪的淡淡的,没有浓郁的牛肉味,整体上也是不好食。至于香茅牛肉捞檬,牛肉腌的入味不过有点过熟导致有靱的感觉,檬粉是暖的,配菜如萝卜青瓜等毫无新鲜的味道,倒了大半瓶鱼露再捞得均均匀匀都没什么味道,令人失望。 饮品方面,咸柠梳打就一贯的好喝,没什么问题,可能因为制作方面没什么难度。总的来说,这一次进餐体验很差,服务态度不好之余,食物还不达水准,令我们对芽庄大失所望,希望这间分店可以有所改善和进步,而且并不反映其他分店的水准。My parents and I ventured to Sha

My parents and I ventured to Sha Tin on this weekday and when it's time for lunch, we came across Nha Trang on the 7/F of New City Plaza. We were big fans of Vietnamese cuisine and Nha Trang and frequented the branch in Wan Chai before its closure as well the one in Times Square, Causeway Bay hence we immediately decided to have our meal there.
As for food from the restaurant, we ordered Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab, Sizzling Saigon Crêpe, Pho with Thin-sliced Beef (Well Done) and Cold Vermicelli with Stir-Fried Lemongrass Beef as well as Salty Preserved Lemon Soda as drinks.
Firstly, Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab is on par with the usual quality of Nha Trang - crispy and together with a dose of lime juice, not very greasy and served as a great appetiser. The only let-down was the small portion size.
As for Sizzling Saigon Crêpe, there was no flavour to it at all - the crêpe itself nor the fillings. The vegetables that came along with the dish were used for wrapping the crêpe. Rather than normal lettuce, they were mustard leaves which tasted peppery, like very.
The beef in Pho with Thin-sliced Beef (Well Done) had a indescribable, weird taste to it. The broth was rather tasteless without the usual rich taste of beef. Everything about this pho was just off and unfamiliar when compared to previous phos from Nha Trang.
Cold Vermicelli with Stir-Fried Lemongrass Beef was not cold but rather warm. Finely sliced vegetables, like carrots and cucumbers, and herbs didn't taste fresh. Upon pouring and mixing more than half bottle of fish sauce with the vermicelli, it still tasted flavourless. The only consolation was the flavoursome beef albeit a bit overdone thus the chewy texture.
Salty Preserved Lemon Soda served as the only reminder of good memories we had with Nha Trang. Tasty as usual probably due its preparation didn't require any special skills.
To conclude, we had an unpleasant dining experience and are very disappointed with the service and food quality provided. We hope these problems would be corrected or at least improved and do not reflect standards of other branches.
题外话/补充资料:
拿到位子一坐下放下一袋袋随身物品,侍应生竟然要求我们搬东西到另外一个位子,就为了要免去搬食具与调味料到另外一个位子的麻烦!其后,这侍应的服务态度继续很差:毫无笑容加上一直给面色我们看,结帐时我们当然没给tips!
Upon getting a table and putting down our belongings, a waitress abruptly asked us to move our stuff to another chair just so she could save the trouble moving some utensils and seasonings from the other side of the table! Thereafter, the waitress kept on serving us with attitude and giving us a long face. So when we paid the bill, we refused to pay any tips for the waitress.
