Despite the challenging times in the food industry, Satay King has persevered, updating its logo and brightening its interiors while retaining the iconic pirate captain statue. The menu remains focused on white curry and satay dishes, with the white curry pork chop rice maintaining its coconut aroma and sweetness, and the pork chops seemingly more tender than before. The satay vermicelli features noodles that absorb the sauce well, with a thick, savory satay that’s not too spicy, catering to local tastes. Maintaining 10 branches, this 30-plus-year-old restaurant group has not compromised on quality despite cost pressures, achieving a simple yet challenging standard.
