3/3rds is situated on the top floor of a quite shabby looking industrial building, which happens to have a nice fish tank in the foyer. After pushing open the manual lift door on the 22nd floor, you are instantly taken away by the beautiful deco and equally breathtaking view. Thinks this works to more than justify the slightly upmarket pricing for the Wong Chuk Hang area. I ordered the Soup and small salad combo, totalling at $100.Worth noting, their soups offer sampling, which helps you decide
Worth noting, their soups offer sampling, which helps you decide which exotic flavour to invest your hard earned cash on. Their salads are more of a very nice roast vegetable dish than your traditional raw salads. As noted by previous reviews, their Roasted aubergine with saffron yoghurt are definitely worth a try. Small size salads should be filling enough for most. My male colleague who ordered a large salad with his soup struggled a bit finishing it.
Lastly, and also the reason why I only gave an Ok rather than a full on thumbs up. From an environmental point of view, I’d really appreciate it if the restaurant could provide real cutlery and bowls for the dine in customers. Taking into mind the 3 digit price I paid for lunch, I'm sure the owners could afford the washing-up staff, and the customers would much appreciate not needing to consume their meal with plastic forks from a cardboard box.
