STARTER
🍳 Truffle Omelette Rolls
These rolls had a strong truffle aroma and a slight crispness on top of the egg. They served as a decent starter, warming the stomach and enhancing the appetite.
🥗 Summer Green Salad
The salad was accompanied by a slightly sour dressing and tasted like a typical salad from Western restaurants. The greens were rather thin, and it also included some pomegranate.
MAIN COURSES
🎃 Blaze Mushroom and Pumpkin Risotto
The risotto had a creamy texture. I particularly enjoyed the distinct separation of each grain of rice and not sticking, providing a unique mouthfeel compared to other risottos I've tried. In the photo, you can see that the sliced mushrooms were much smaller than depicted in the menus.
🖤 Black Charcoal Risotto With Crispy Onsen Egg
We weren't sure if we were actually eating charcoal haha, and it didn't smell like regular burnt charcoal. The egg had a delightful runny yolk, but the crispy parts easily detached from it. The rice, once again, had a clear separation of grains and a stronger black pepper flavor.
CAKES
🥭 Mango Mille Crêpes
This cake was filled with a light and creamy mango cream, topped with sweet mango slices that added freshness and fruity notes. A thin layer of gelatin held the mango slices in place.
🍰 Strawberry Shortcake
Layers of vanilla sponge cake with fresh strawberries and light cream. It didn't look like something we would typically order at first glance, but the moist and spongy texture made me want to order it again next time.
We found the dishes to be exceptionally small in comparison to the large portions depicted on their menus. Nonetheless, the portions were actually sufficient for me.
🏇 I particularly loved the clean designs of the place, along with some adorable horse plushies, which made this Lady M branch stand out.
