After finishing my appointment at Sai Wan Ho, it was already lunch time thus i decided to have my lunch nearby. In the end I chose Grandpa Roast Goose Restaurant as i have a craving for it. It was located at Shau Kei Wan Road, near Sai Wan Ho MTR.They offered several types of meat such as roasted meat, BBQ pork, chicken, roasted goose and suckling pig etc. Besides that, they served light snacks and drink too. Soup of the day - It was watercress soup with pork. Soup was clear and nourishing, absorbing the essence of the ingredients.
Soy sauce chicken and BBQ pork rice - The chef was generous with the portion, covering almost the whole plate. BBQ pork was juicy and tender and soy sauce chicken was oily and smooth.
As their meat were tasty, i decided to have take-away for dinner. Roasted meat were chewy and juicy, with layers of fat in between.
