Yea, this was our plan, enjoy a fabulous dinner following by a cocktail party. So, first of all, we arrived this restaurant after we had gathered at TST. This was my first time to dine here but it really impressed me! Look at this picture, never expect an area like this, with the decor and the lights, it just look like a sky garden (you can see there is an open area at the end of the corridor). Alright, let's get into the room. We reserved a VIP room, haha, that's what they called. Well it actually included a TV, that's all. But its location made me had the feeling of being an VIP LOL just kidding. We all spotted the cart right next to the door. All common topping and sauce were put tidily. The most special one should be the preserved beancurd sauce. This is one of the favourite sauce for Chinese, especially the elders. The texture is creamy and the taste is strong which is extremely appetizing! Yet, many people think it is smelly Lots choices with many seldom seen in hot pot restaurants, like iberico pork and different types of oyster! Comparing with other similar hot pot restaurant, this is the one that gave me an exclusive feeling. Usually, there are only 3 to 5 types of soup to let you choose from while you can have at least 8 selections! Boys were thinking about the spicy soup but the girls yelled NO. So we ordered a Pork Bone Soup with Carrot and Corn. Sweet and healthy I think this was the tastiest one tonight! Tender Beef! What I need was just to pick a piece, put it in the pot for 5 seconds, dip the sauce and fare. Personally, I prefer the beef not to have too much fat since I think it might make the beef become less eatable. If this is against your opinions, forgive me. Fresh Grass Carp slices, not by intention, this is just as same as the beef. You don't need to wait for a long time to taste. Tender with little springy, few bones, please must order Leek and Pork dumpling, my most favourite dumpling. Strong taste of leek and springy pork, I couldn't be sure if this was hand made or purchased LOL I just remember I had more than 5 of them. Fresh scallop and beef ball, the beef ball was a bit spicy with pepper, thick in texture but bouncy! For the scallops, I just fare them like sashimi because they were so fresh.
We didn't drink beer since we were ready for the cocktail party This was a really good start of the night. Nice food nice friends nice Friday. (I felt like I'm drunk)
