Uji Matcha Mochi Shortcake 🍵Will be giving it a 5.5 out of 10. Was expecting more coz they are pretty well known in the field. However, we were a bit disappointed with the mochi, as they are less stretchy than we have been expecting. Mochi is beloved for its chewiness and elasticity, but the ones here are far from being that…
The proportion of sponge cake is somehow unreasonably uneven (to me). Personally prefer having more of that gluteny cake form, instead of the overwhelming amount of matcha puddingy substance. The panna cotta is way too filling and I don’t mind leaving it all to my fds XD
Overall speaking I am really enjoying their fresh cream! Would be more than willing to give their other menu items a try, just not this matcha cake again
