Tipsy Burger was a place I noticed the other day. Always up for a new burger place, I decided to give it a try by ordering takeaway after work. They do have seating available if you want to dine in.Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. They served various burgers and snacks but what caught my eye was the division of non-alcoholic and tipsy. What did that mean? Was this a gimmick? Curiousity got the better of me so I decided to order something from the tipsy side. They a
I got myself a Heroes beer crossover with Lock Cha Teahouse. The beer had a light citrusy taste and wasn't too bitter.
As the burger was placed in a cardboard box and wrapped in paper, I could eat without any spillage. It made the whole thing mess-free.
I ordere the Whiskey Wagyu Beef Burger ($83). It was served with a little pipette bulb of whiskey. I squeezed some of it into the patty and drippd it also on top to impart a bit of boozey feel. Somehow it enhanced the flavour of the beef. The patty was cooked to a medium rare and was juicy. There was a slice of crisp lettuce and pickled cabbage. The pickled cabbage was a surprise and it went well with the greasy melted cheese. The bun was the best of all. A sweet brioche bun. I think the best vehicle for a burger.
I loved these wings. I think I loved these more than the burger. The skin was savory and sweet. The inside was filled to the brim with cheese and mushroom. These were moorish.
Decent burger place that seemed clean. Staff was nice and even held the door open for me as I left. Would return.
