Not so many nice cake shops in Jordan district. So when seeing this new cake shop, small but decorated in quite a high class style, give its a shot to try and ends up totally no disappointment.Firstly, it has a trio varitey cakes sold as one set which u should start with, it is a set of 3 tiny pieces of cakes with different taste: cheesecake, tirimisu and chocolate devil that u won't over-burden your stomach for the joy of your mouth. Firstly, it has a trio varitey cakes sold as one set which u should start with, it is a set of 3 tiny pieces of cakes with different taste: cheesecake, tirimisu and chocolate devil that u won't over-burden your stomach for the joy of your mouth. I am stunned by the cheesecake which is "hard" but melt when chewing and the favour long last in your mouth, not "sponge" or "mousse" cheese which deprive u from your chewy pleausre.
Opera is also my favourite that u can feel different taste and texture in different layers, a good combination of cake on the top and biscuit base at the bottom.
Besides the rich-favour cake, i try some light favour as well like pear champagne cake and rasburry mousse cake. Not bad but not outstanding either as the fruit favour is not strong. the cake may be better if they mix some tiny fruit cursh inside to pump up the fruit favour.
The price of the cake is not expensive (less than HK$30@) that the cake is worth the money. They are now doing promotion that $300 spending at one time will give u back a permanent 15% discount card. one more good reason to buy cakes there.
