UCC was a childhood favourite of mine. And I would order pretty much the same items every single time😂 My favourite was their seafood rice omelette with tomato sauce 🥫 I also used to love their salad bar, I would smear the bottom with potato salad and use lettuce 🥬 to build a fence around the edge of the bowl to contain the mountain of fruit and jelly I would eventually pile into that tiny salad bowl😂 And the green and purple coloured jellies are the best ones 😉To be honest, I was genuinely surp
To be honest, I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed their food even after all these years😍
My favourite of the evening was their 🥑smoked salmon and avocado scrambled egg casserole, that soft fluffy scrambled egg was perfect with the rice, avocado and toasty smoked salmon!

Their 🍄 truffle mushroom risotto with scallops was also delicious. I would describe it as being Japanese rice simmered in a cream mushroom truffle sauce, so technically not a risotto but it was surprisingly good, hearty without being too heavy.

Another dish worth mentioning was the 🐟 salmon and spinach gratin with fusilli, mainly because I love salmon and cooked baby spinach with any kind of sauce is just delicious!
