Was captivated by the flyer showing this delish Chinese beef pie.There are a few different pies to choose from.I chose the beef and onion as it sounded similar to the English beef and onion pie and I thought it would be interesting to see if there are any differences.When it came, it was flakey and round like a hamburger slit open in the middle and filled with beef and onions.The pastry was spot on as it was baked just right and not oily.However, the beef which I assume is beef according to the

The pastry was spot on as it was baked just right and not oily.However, the beef which I assume is beef according to the menu turned out mostly chewy tendons and elastic translucent bits.
I didn't really finish it off because every mouthful turned out to be that stuff.
