Came here for dinner with boyfriend as we were wondering what to eat on a Sunday night. We came across this place and weren't really sure what it was. The place was packed with larger groups of people but we could still get a table rather quickly even though there was only two of us.Sitting down, we realized this place served very basic Cantonese dishes that are more popularly found in dai pai dongs. Sitting down, we realized this place served very basic Cantonese dishes that are more popularly found in dai pai dongs. Menu is in English and Chinese however they have set options for two, four or eight people along with promotional items that are only in Chinese. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was your typical dai pai dong style. Rushed and to the point.
We weren't sure what to order so we chose a two people set that included the daily soup, half of their signature roast chicken, a choice of main under $88 (anything more you just add the diffference), fried rice and dessert for $308.
Daily Soup. When the soup came, it was huge. And I mean HUGE. I think boyfriend and I drank at least 3 bowls of this and there was still more soup! For a two people set, I didn't expect it to be that big! The soup was pretty sweet as Chinese soups are. I think it was a pork, dried bok choy and carrot soup. A very typical Chinese soup.
