Disappointed from halfway around the world...

As a visitor from Toronto, Canada, I thought that Korean food would be equally as great in Hong Kong. Boy, was I wrong...I initially visited Hungry Korean from all the rave reviews, however don't be fooled. I thought the food was great considering I waited for 45 minutes for a seat. The kim-bap was decent (how can you screw it up), but the bulgogi and side dishes that I paid extra was horrible! The bulgogi didn't take like authentic Korean bulgogi. It tasted like sauced beef. Boy, was I wrong...I initially visited Hungry Korean from all the rave reviews, however don't be fooled. I thought the food was great considering I waited for 45 minutes for a seat. The kim-bap was decent (how can you screw it up), but the bulgogi and side dishes that I paid extra was horrible! The bulgogi didn't take like authentic Korean bulgogi. It tasted like sauced beef. The side dishes were horrible! The kimchi was extremely salty and sour, the potatoes were just bland and the fish cakes tasted like slices of soya sauce. I even ordered the barley drink and it just tasted like sugared water... For all future visitors, don't be fooled by all the reviews!
