I've been to Mongkok Seafood Restaurant many times. Usually go there for their supper menu because of the cheap prices and good quality. Saw their new economical dinner set $298/person and invited my parents to try.Signature small dishes were up to standard as always. Tender pork tongue, well-prepared small intestines and crunchy jellyfish. They offered two choices of soup. Almond pork lung soup with fish maw - Chinese classic that was nourishing. Peppercorn chicken soup with pork tripes - clear

They offered two choices of soup. Almond pork lung soup with fish maw - Chinese classic that was nourishing. Peppercorn chicken soup with pork tripes - clear, slightly spicy and aromatic.
Steamed South African abalone and Japanese scallop were perfectly cooked. The abalone was easy to chew. Best thing about the scallop dish was the vermicelli noodles that had soaked up all the umami and garlic sauce.
Steamed grouper and chicken were topped with tons of raw shredded scallions. Wish they put ginger as well! Huge grouper, more than enough for us to share. Chicken included breast and wing. So much meat that we couldn't finish.
Choy sum were soft and sweet. Sauteed in a flavorful stock probably made with dried seafood.
Red bean soup with dried tangerine peel was sandy and not too sweet.
If you are a big eater, this menu will absolutely satisfy your stomach. The manager is drafting a new menu for winter so I advise you to try this limited discounted menu asap!
