Summary: Great takeout pizza in a city that needs a lot more of it. Not much space for seating, but a great drinks selection for its size, with a 2:1 happy hour until 8. Large variety of topping and two distinct and delicious crust types. Reasonable prices AND they take app discount deals (currently 25% off all the food)I had been to Andreas early this year, but was only able to try the thin-crust; as the bagel crust is in the name of the store itself, I thought it’d be a bit unfair to review i
I had been to Andreas early this year, but was only able to try the thin-crust; as the bagel crust is in the name of the store itself, I thought it’d be a bit unfair to review it at that point (it was delicious though).
It’s a lot smaller than I remember – there’s only enough seating for maybe 6-7 people on an L-shaped counter. They have a giant drinks fridge with at least 5 types of beer, including traditional lagers like Stella, but they also had three varieties from Brooklyn Brewery (IPA, Lager and Sour), 3 or 4 single serving mini wines bottles, and some Italian sodas. An impressive selection, and they do 2 for 1 Happy Hour before 8pm, which is a great deal, especially for some of the Brooklyn beers you don’t see in supermarkets all the time.
Somehow I forgot to take a picture of the menu. There are premade choices, or you can choose your own toppings . We went for the Margherita with Bagel crust, Napoli on thin crust, and added a Caprese salad.

Overall, I really like Andrea's! Great pizza, decent pricing (25% off food!), and lots of drinks. I would say a single hungry person can finish an entire pie, bagel or thin crust (we had two pizzas between the two of us), so order accordingly. I know I take pizza too seriously, but in a city with precious few good pizza shops, any good one, no matter how modest, should be advertised. If you live in SYP, there’s no reason to have Pizza Hut or Dominos anymore! Go to Andreas!
