It was such an unwelcoming and uninviting experience. When I first entered the restaurant, the server told me that their stove was being fixed and was not able to serve breakfast. I would like to stay for just a drink but the server appeared resistant and unwilling to provide me the service. She told me that I will be charged at least $20 for a drink which I was willing to pay for. She did not offer me a table until I ask where I may sit. It was such an unwelcoming and uninviting experience. When I first entered the restaurant, the server told me that their stove was being fixed and was not able to serve breakfast. I would like to stay for just a drink but the server appeared resistant and unwilling to provide me the service. She told me that I will be charged at least $20 for a drink which I was willing to pay for. She did not offer me a table until I ask where I may sit. After a short period of time, she took away my menu without even asking if I’m done reading. At the end, I was charged double for the drink which is more than $20. I understand that it could be the standard for restaurant to charge double for drinking alone without ordering food but I am disappointed with the incorrect information the server communicated and the rude attitude she displayed. I am very disappointed by the entire experience. I truly hope that the restaurant would consider providing additional training for staff.
