I visit my friend who live in San Po Kong,HK.She recommends a restaurant which famous for its cheese hot pots in Hong Kong style and said that I must try it.So we had a dinner together in that restaurant which located in 1/F San Po Kong Plaza.Unlike typical Swiss cheese fondue which dips breads or fruits into the cheese,these HongKongese fusion fondue are served with varieties of meats,seafoods,veges,snacks and noodles pairing with different flavours of cheese pots. There are 5 special versions

There are 5 special versions of cheese chicken hot pot for who loves eating chicken hot pots.
1.Sweet potato cheese chicken hot pot(HKD$89)
2.Crab roe double cheese cheese chicken hot pot(HKD$109)
3.Spicy double cheese chicken hot pot(HKD$79)
4.Double cheese chicken hot pot(HKD$69)
5.Spicy chicken hot pot(HKD$60)
However,my friend and I prefer seafood and beef,so we order other cheese hot pots instead.
There are 4 steps to order hot pot here.
Step 1: choose flavour of the base of soup for the hot pot.
There are total 11 flavours for the base which show below: S01: Pork bone soup

S06:Tomato soup
S07:Tomato cheese soup(+HKD$10)

Except ordering Cheese lobster soup/Tomato cheese soup or Spicy cheese soup needs adding HKD$10,all others are free of charge.
Step 2: choose the ingredients of the hot pot

Step 3: choosing the carbo you want to pair with
There are 4 carbo you can choose from:
1.Plain rice
2:Nissin instant noodle(sesame oil flavour)
3:Handmade Udon(from Japan )
4:Remen(from Japan)
Step 4rder extra ingredients for the hot pot(additional charges are needed)
There are around 50 types of ingredients for customers to choose from.For example different veges,seafood ,meats,dumplings and sausages...etc.
I order the spicy(medium spiciness)cheese seafood hot pot (S11+F04)pairing with ramenwhile my friend ordered the spicy(low spiciness)cheese premium US beef chuck & blaze hot pot (S11+F01)pairing with plain rice.
We also order 4 extra ingredients for our hot pots which are Spain premium pork,Hiroshima oysters,scallops and sliced beef shank.
We shared the food with each other. I quite satisfied with my own hot pot.There are little cuttlefishes,muscles,baby clams,scallops which add sweetness into the soup base.The ramen is very tasty by cooking it in the hot pot which soaks up all the flavours of the seafood.The melted gooey cheese coated in the ramen sufaces and sipping a mouthful of spicy soup,yummmm. I also try my friend hot pot. She ordered low spiciness for her soup base.I think that it is less tastier than that of mine which lacks a kick for the taste buds.Also,the US beef chuck & blaze does not have intense rich flavours and relative small quantity.But overall is acceptable.
We quite satisfied with the extra ingredient that we ordered. The Hiroshima oysters from Japan are quite succulent,large and sweet.The Spain premium pork is full of flavours with layers of nice,tasty,evenly distributed grease in it.The large size scallops are fresh and sweet.The beef shank is marinated with brine which composes of dark soysauce,star anises and Sichuan peppercorns.So the sliced beef shank has very intense flavours and color from the spices and the dark soysauce.
The service is quite good.The waitresses are very helpful and polite.They will actively ask you whether to refill the soup base or not.The interior design is pain.The hot pots here are quite creative.Hot pots do not have very strong cheese flavours.I guess that they use the light cheeses.However,the large pile of cheeses definitely give you the lovely gooey cheesy texture
