This weekend our family outing is in Tseung Kwan O. We came to this newly opened restaurant and decided to give it a try as the outside looks tranquil and relaxed yet chic. The interior setting is cosy and relaxing. The washroom is especially large and clean, feels like a hotel washroom.

We ordered the signature steak tartare for entree. There is a whole clove of baked garlic on each sliced baguette and when spread with the steak tartare, the taste blends quite well.

For the main course, we tried the chargrilled U.S.Angus ribeye. The 16oz size is good for sharing as it is a good size portion and is thick cut. It cuts easily and on the first bite, the aroma that hits you is the chargrill taste which lingers in your mouth. The meat is juicy and tender, a big thumbs up to the chef for this quality steak. Another compliment is the whole baked garlic on the side. For those who love garlic and steak, this is a must try.

The other dish is the roasted chicken which is served in a hot iron cast pan with vegetables at the base to soak up the chicken juice. The presentation looks good. The skin is crispy and the meat is tender and juicy. It tastes delicious.

For dessert, I highly recommend the grandpa’s churros with tiramisu and the grandma’s cheesecake. I love the churros as it is warm and crisp on the outside and soft in the inside. Goes very well with the tiramisu. The cheesecake is also my favourite. Creamy and not too sweet.

At the end of the day, we were so full that we did not have the chance to order the coffee, which I understand is also a must try as the coffee beans are roasted in small batches. Will definitely visit this restaurant again as I would like to try out the lobster as well as the baked halibut and of course the churros again!

Last but not least, the staffs are attentive and polite. One of the staff even ran out after us to return our umbrellas as we forgot to retrieve them on our way out. Thank you Le Marche!
