Myself, the Norwich City mascot, Captain Canary arrive to the White Stag at 8pm, which the game is kick off at 10pm, I have a long chat with fellow Norwich fans, talks about the current situation of the club, the transfer, of course the chance about the "p" word (promotion or playoffs), we just cannot stop! I do not drink, so I take the diet coke with ice, which is in a reasonable price, $38 in the Happy Hour.
Just 30 minutes to kick off, we already have 8 Hong Kong Canaries there, but how I really unexpected, there are also 3 QPR fans there with QPR shirts on! We respect to each others and we sit on the same sofa to watch the game, we also share our best and worst players! Yeah you won't believe it f you watch the game with the away fans in the stadium, but perhaps it's in a pub, also in Hong Kong, so that's no problem. At the same time, we need to take some food since I do not have dinner yet, so I order the Deluxe New Yorker Homemade burger, which is $95. About our game, we have a penalty in the first half, but our attacking midfielder, Wes Hoolahan who put the ball wide of the net, which we should take the lead. Anyway we have a soild performance in the first half, quite deserve not to concede a goal. QPR just show why they are top of the league, their captain Adel Taarabt, signed from Tottenham Hotspurs, really a threaten, but sometimes just doing too much. My favourite player and friend, Adam Drury, of course I have his hand signed shirt on, have a really soild game at left back too, his sliding tackle is just perfect. Half time 0-0.
Another 45 minutes to play, suddenly the air conditioner turn on, and we feel freezing! Nevermind because we only concern about the game. QPR start to dominate but we hang on, Tackles are flying everywhere but it is just determination, not dirty play, perhaps that's the beauty in the Championship. We hang on and finally we get a very deserved point away from home. My man of the match is Wales international Andrew Crofts, bargain signing from Gillingham but boss the midfield, both attacking and defending. 11:55pm the game finish at 0-0, so I wave goodbye to the Norwich fans and go back home by bus. A good night out and we are still 3rd, On the Ball City! We will finish at the Top 2 at the end of the season !"
