We went here on a Friday night with a longtime HKer who recommended it and although we had an almighty wait in the end it was well worth it !Having just spent a year on the mainland we'd been craving some more traditional food at decent prices since arriving in Hong Kong and seems like here we found it. Having just spent a year on the mainland we'd been craving some more traditional food at decent prices since arriving in Hong Kong and seems like here we found it. Once we were finally seated the waiting staff were extremely attentive and dishes served very quickly - Xiao Long Bau was delicious, such that we ended up ordering a second plate, as were the fried dumplings. Amongst other dishes we also had what I know as Gambien Douzhou - runner beans fried with chillis and mince meat, also very tasty and flavourful !
Drinks were quite generally quite reasonable and the meal worked out just under HKD 400 for three of us so overall there was generally very little to complain about other than the queue, and you can't really blame a restaurant for being too popular !
