Today i catch up with my ex-colleague and he brought me to a cafe that he visited frequently. Infinity workshop cafe was located between Yau Ma Tei and Mongkok MTR, along the busy streets of Dundas street. As everyone know, Dundas street was famed for the whole stretches of street food available. They tried to keep it simple thus their menu for their main, sides and salads were only restricted to few items. They do offer tea set as well at a lower price, only available from 130pm to 530pm daily.
Aurora - I ordered a smoothies and aurora consist of lychee and lime etc. I can taste that they use authentic fruit to blend and put in alot of effort in it. The drink was refreshing and was both sweet and sour.
Deep fried tiger shrimp and scallop pasta with truffle oil - This is one of their signature dishes. As they use truffle oil to cook the pasta, pasta smell strongly of truffle. I was quite surprised that the real size of tiger prawn was used in a cafe instead of those Japanese restaurant. The prawn was huge and the meat was fresh and chewy. Mushroom and scallop was soft as well. Portion of it was so big that i was very full after finishing it.
Honey wings - The skin of the wings was tasty and sweet as honey was pasted over it. I could see some redness in the meat, though it does not really affect the taste of the wings.
