This small authentic Italian eatery in Sheung Wan seriously makes some of the best pastas in town! As Italian food lovers BF and I came for lunch and their set lunch menu is a very reasonable price of $108/2 courses and $138/3 courses. For starters we had Parma ham & burrata bruschetta and caprese salad. The caprese salad was just alright, but the bruschetta was amazing with creamy burrata and good quality parma on nicely crisp bread. The main event, namely the pastas, gave us real surprise in their quality. We had tagliatelle Bolognese and pesto penne, both of which were made with fresfmh homemade cooked to an al dente texture. Personally I liked the pesto pasta better, as the flavour has both the aroma of basil and olive oil as well as a good garlicky kick. The Bolognese also tasted very good, although I thought there could be a bit more sauce. The desserts were a little disappointing (the tiramisu somehow had a dry biscuit base), but still that did not detract from how amazed we were by the quality of their pastas. Will definitely return for more!
