I don't have any comments regarding this restaurant and I do believe I won't have any chance for it as their TERRIBLE PHONE MANNER already drive my appetite away.A couple of fds and myself was planning to have a catch up dinner on 14 Oct (Wed) and I placed an reservation over the phone with SML on Monday. The phone manner with the front desk was like forcing the customer to choose the time slot (I would like to have the table at 7:30pm) and the receptionist confirmed my booking at 7:15pm - 8:45p

The phone manner with the front desk was like forcing the customer to choose the time slot (I would like to have the table at 7:30pm) and the receptionist confirmed my booking at 7:15pm - 8:45pm. It's not making any sense as none of us were able to arrive on 7:15pm, which means we cannot make it until 7:30 and that's the point for us to book at 7:30pm. After settling this issue with the girl on phone to reserve the table at 7:30 and noticed that they can only keep the table for 5-min. (so what's the point for forcing us to make a booking at 7:15? Coz we can NEVER make that)
I then received a confirmation call on Wed afternoon with a very bad phone manner reminding us to be on time and table can only be reserved for 5 min. At the end, we cannot make that at 7:30pm and the restaurant called with a 'blaming' manner & bad attitude: ' We are calling from SML, I just want to remind that your table have been reserved at 7:30pm and it's late now'. 'Well, I don't think we can make that, would u cancel that for me?' I answered. '....... do..do...doo..' she HUNG UP the phone without any response... We are all pissed with her manner and decided not to pay any visit there ANYMORE!!!!
I do strongly believe the restaurant can only drive customer away with these kind of service before they dine in.
