What a disappointment

Read on FB about this so decided to try its lunch menu. Note: It is not an authentic French nor Italian restaurant. The decor was the best part about it (unfortunately), modern & clean with some French posters hanging on the walls. Food was simply Western for what it was on the menu. We ordered supposedly the most popular, salad, cream soup as starters, lamb rack, seafood risotto as main dish & ended with coffee/tea. Lamb was terribly over cooked, the fat was not trimmed and tasted bland. Risott

The decor was the best part about it (unfortunately), modern & clean with some French posters hanging on the walls. Food was simply Western for what it was on the menu. We ordered supposedly the most popular, salad, cream soup as starters, lamb rack, seafood risotto as main dish & ended with coffee/tea. Lamb was terribly over cooked, the fat was not trimmed and tasted bland. Risotto was okay - no complaints. But the worse part was that the server and chef were happily chatting at the top of their voice all the time, destroying the ambience. And we had to leave our table to find service. There were just two tables dining in the small restaurant which could hold up to max 20+ guests. The 3 course lunch menu items were around $200. The a la cartes were as expensive as high end restaurants at say Times Square. What a shame - the hardware of this restaurant was good but software was lousy amidst stiff competitions in CWB!
