3 course brunch ($298) at Winebeast ~ didn't expect them to have the pithivier for lunch but I'm glad it was an option. Also had a bottle of nectarine juice! Started off with a octopus ceviche and a foie gras terrine (+$80) which was super smooth, then moved on to the mains. We had truffle gnocchi and duck and foie gras pithivier ($+80). Pithivier looked great on camera but it was overcooked inside, the veal jus on the side was nice and thank god the gnocchi was filling, but I'm ok with it since

Pithivier looked great on camera but it was overcooked inside, the veal jus on the side was nice and thank god the gnocchi was filling, but I'm ok with it since I'm only paying a little over 300 for everything. Profiteroles is a must for dessert, the chocolate sauce was bomb, ice cream was super vanilla and the choux had a nice crunch. Chocolate fondant wasn't bad but I would've prefer a more melty centre. Would be back another time for a chill lunch.
