Another burger joint?

With so many burger joints popping up, is this going to be a tasty addition or one to avoid?The exterior and interior are look good, well with the exception of the combination of the chairs/floor, the chairs seem to be very slippery on the wooden floor, so best becareful sitting down. The day I visited I waited around 5 minutes for a table, the setup is that you order from the counter and then the food is brough to your table. We ordered the Texas BBQ combo with Trilogy of Chocolate Milkshake and a Pulled Lamb Burger. 

Texas BBQ Burger: The bun looks a bit big for the burger how don't let that deter you the burger is tasty, juicy and flavoursome. Highly recommended!

 Pulled Lamb Burger: I usually avoid pulled meat as its mostly dry however this was moist and very tasty and the yoghurt mint dressing is a very interesting combination of flavours. Also highly recommended.

 The fries (no picture): nice an crispy also very good.

Citrus Slaw: I dont know what this is made of but it tasted awful!

Trilogy of Chocolate Milkshake: I was looking forward to this, the burger, fries and milkshare is a favourite combo of mine. The DRINK tastes good however its not a milkshake its a milk drink. I don't remember the last time I had a milk shake that was viscous like milk from a carton. Milkshakes from burger joints should be thick and made with ice cream and not be a flavoured milk drink.  And at $49 (combo) I felt slightly annoyed.

 The staff: When I was queing up to order there were two cashiers that were attending to the customer before me however he wasn't paying so they could have been a bit more attentitive. Also the staff that were serving were a little lifeless, they weren't rude but if they were a a bit more cheerful it would have made the dining experience a bit better. 

Overall a decent addition to the burger community and one which I recommend. 
I would have given 4 stars had the service better and milkshake wasnt so disappointing.

I went back to Texas Burger recently to check out their new menu with notable burger additions such as P&P (Parma ham & Portobello mushroom) burger, Foie Gras Beef Burger and Pulled Lamb Burger!Berry Lover ($49) - strawberry ice cream, raspberry, blueberry, whipping cream and fresh berries.  Foie Gras Beef Burger ($168) - 6 oz. beef patty, "Rougie" foie gras, balsamic reduction, pickled red onions & arugula salad with toasted brioche bun. I was thoroughly impressed with this new burger! The beef patty was cooked just right as it was moist and flavorful while the structure was solid. I especially loved the foie gras and the balsamic vinegar while everything just came together perfectly. [4.5/5]

 Pulled Lamb Burger ($93) - slow-cooked New Zealand lamb in rosemary gravy, lettuce, yogurt mint dressing, french fried onions, melted goat cheese and hard flour bun. This lamb burger could use some improvement though as I couldn't really taste the yogurt mint dressing which could have helped to balance the strong lamb gamey flavors in the burger. The concept is great though especially for those who love lamb. [3.5/5]

 Verdict - the foie gras beef burger is definitely worth a try! I also noticed that the coleslaw here has improved since my last visit.
