The tatse is satisfactory
But the portion is very very small
We ordered 4 dishes (for 4 people) and we feel so hungry after the lunch
薄餅 - $18 for 2 pieces, the taste is ok, not special, but the size is very small
巴東牛肉 - average, again, very very small
串燒 - ok
醬燒雞 - taste ok, but only 5 small pieces and each piece of 雞 mainly compose of bone!
飯 - I can at least finish 3 to 4 dishes myself (because of the portion!!!)

2. Environment
- decortaion not bad
- but the toilet is so small, man with normal body built can't make a turn in the toilet

3. Service
- sorry, not available
- the waitress showed you typical "black face", O my god!!!!!!
- The waitress are so SLOW, even when the restauarant is not full
- Why water cannot be provided free of charge?

The old 印尼餐廳 is really much better

今日中午放學同學生係銅鑼灣搵地方食飯,但到處都是人山人海,我一向要等位就我令願唔食,行左好多地方,終於走到較遍既禮頓道,見到一間印尼餐廳,大家都好想試下。廳內環境很舒服,最適合坐下慢慢同朋友飲野吹水。我地叫左一個印尼炒麵 $68,麵一到,啊!甚解跟 memu 既圖完全唔同?細蝶左同外貌無圖片咁靚,我壞疑之下問個待應,佢態度好不友善咁答<係>就走開左,咁無可耐何都要接受啦,呢個印尼炒麵味道濃郁,內有少許菜,有 4 隻蝦,非常好味,我地每人分得幾淡,實在唔夠喉。軟縠蟹卷 $48,內有軟縠蟹同一些類似粉絲既,味道普通。食完倆份食物,一直坐左好耐都未有第三份到,追問之下,個待應個樣好 cool 咁行去查,睇佢地幾個待應吱吱噚似可能送錯左去另一張台比人食左,再等之下薄餅終於拿到來,但個待應無表示歉意就行開。薄餅 $18,有兩片,每片 $9,都算貴囉,但好好味,我一面食一面樹起手指不停讚,值得推介。若然待應態度好些我都會再來,但... 我一定唔會再幫襯囉.

4) 最欣賞的Guava soda: 本不打算order any drinks, 因為之後想食dessert, 但沒有free water provided所以就order了很多人都讚的guava soda。很refreshing, 微甜, 好正! 有點guava肉! 不過...飲了一半後有些發現, 在這不能說, 想知可send message給我。今次我們嘗試跟waitress說, 她換了一杯給我[見圖-長杯子]。

I grow up eating Indonesian food. Thus, naturally, I am a bit fussy when it comes to Indonesian food. First, the not so authentic gado gado. The vegetables served in gado gado are normally blanched until they are soft, and these were raw. There were no fried tofu, tempe (soybean cake), as well as emping (another type of crackers, which can be easily purchased in any Indonesian supermarkets in Hong Kong). I grow up eating Indonesian food. Thus, naturally, I am a bit fussy when it comes to Indonesian food.

First, the not so authentic gado gado. The vegetables served in gado gado are normally blanched until they are soft, and these were raw. There were no fried tofu, tempe (soybean cake), as well as emping (another type of crackers, which can be easily purchased in any Indonesian supermarkets in Hong Kong). The gado gado is normally drenched and mixed well with its sauce, served with a touch of acid (from lime/kalamansi), and this was not. To conclude, this is a just vegetable salad with peanut sauce and prawn chips, being sold as gado gado.

The sate. Again, not authentic and they're not the improved version of the sate you get from Indonesian street vendors. We're missing the smoky charcoal aroma we get from sate, the meat wasn't the most tender nor flavorful, we almost didn't get any distinct flavor from each meat at all (chicken, beef, pork?). The dressing was a sweet and too watery peanut...liquid, which could be improved very easily with some chopped raw shallot, chilli and a drizzle of lime and kecap manis. This is not what Indonesian sate is about.

The lontong capgomeh was a pile of lontong (Indonesian rice cakes) in the form of a tumpeng (yellow rice platter). All the "accessories" the lontong were served with (kering teri/kacang, kripik kentang, perkedel, telor balado, etc)...are those normally served with Indonesian yellow rice instead of lontong capgomeh. Lontong capgomeh is normally served soupy with flavorful coconut milk soup base, and this was served dry. If this was lontong capgomeh, then maybe I am not Indonesian.

Was it really that bad? Oh, no worries, the bad news ended there. The beef rendang was pretty authentic. It was not as tender as I'd like it to be, but it is pretty normal for beef rendang to be not so tender, even the ones in Indonesia. The flavors were right, and it tasted fantastic with rice.

The semur lidah (Indonesian stewed ox tongue). Although it is again not served in an authentic manner (semur lidah is normally served as a soup), but this dish was great. It's one of my favorites from this place. The thick cut tongue pieces were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the thick sweet sauce served with it was flavorful.

Indonesia's answer to croquette, perkedel. This is a dish which I've failed to recreate at home numerous times, and these ones were fantastic! It's everything a perkedel should be. Crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside.

The perkedel jagung (corn fritters) were also delicious, fried to perfection with fragrant corn aroma.

The guava soda, which I think was a boxed guava juice topped with soda, but it was surprisingly good. The soda really tamed the over sweetness of the boxed guava juice.

信回教的朋友話同我慶生,本來諗住去另一個地方,但後來冇去,之後就來左呢度,諗住印尼野實啱佢地食啦,因為印尼係信回教架嘛,點知一打開個menu就見到豬肉,有冇搞錯!咁我地唯有叫多d齋同海鮮囉。我地一入去就送左d蝦片,小朋友都不知幾鍾意食。跟住叫左一個薄餅,蝦餅,燒魚(都幾辣,係泰式),燒茄子(普通),一個乜肉都有的黃薑飯(佢味道唔錯,有椰汁雞,有牛肉,有菜有魚乾同好似薯餅的東西,但只係我地冇信回教的人先有得食),同兩杯印尼茶(好有香草味,但唔鍾意草味會覺得怪),小朋友就叫左杯石榴汁。間野坐得幾舒服,好有鬼佬feel。

Haven't been back to this restaurant for ages. Got a chance to get in for a quick bite during lunch time while I was around Causeway Bay. I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice set lunch. The lunch set started with a bowl of vegitable soup. Wow, it was SO SO Oily - I thought I was in a poor canteen. It was not nicely presented. Too much oil surfaced on the top of the bowl. I told the waitress and she did not bother to tell the kitchen/the chef after receiving the feedback. The soup definitely got so

The soup definitely got some MFG.


The chicken came, the texture was okay, it was tasteless - NO FRESH chicken taste, did they use frozen chicken ?

The rice was not done with any boiled chicken soup, it was done with coconut milk, strange taste to me. I preferred the 'traditional' hainan chicken with chicken-oil rice.


The sauce the restaurant used was not impressive at all.

I reckon the restaurant has changed, or I have changed ?!

前排響銅鑼灣上training,lunch覓食時行過一間門面好靚ge印尼餐廳。 原來以為一定好貴,但睇過menu之後發覺價錢都好ok吓~ 雖然幾乎對印尼菜一無所知,都忍唔住同同事入去試吓。店內環境高雅,一片巴里風情。燈光暗暗的甚有情調,而座位更有舒適ge沙發座。我好少比環境 (5分)嫁,不過依間真係當之無愧 頭盤湯 ---------- 可選印尼沙津或湯。小弟揀左湯,係一般餐湯行貨野,失策也。相反,聽同事講番d沙律個汁係用花生醬做的,辣辣地,好有特色 你o地識揀啦! 主菜:印尼炒飯---------- 依味野聽就聽得多啦,食正宗ge印尼餐就未食過。印尼野常配蝦片係意料中事,不過兩串串燒同煎蛋就係驚喜 個飯again係特式野,炒得濕濕o地ge,應該落左d椰奶,對香港人o黎講好有新意呀飲品:印尼咖啡 ---------- 同一般咖啡係唔同ge。不過飲咖啡小弟就冇咩見解啦!不妨一試  P.S. 小弟寫依篇野果陣,仲回味緊1968個feel 呢 一定有下次!

I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time because of the nice environment and special decoration. It was a Monday night so there were only few tables with customer. I went with a friend and my daughter . I knew the food won't be suitable for my daughter as they are mainly spicy and hot food so I ordered a pineapple fried rice, thinking that it wasn't spicy food. It was actually too spicy for my daughter. Immediately the manager change the fried rice and offered a new one which is not spi

2石榴梳打guava soda ( refreshing and not too sweet)
3.荔枝梳打 Lycee soda (with real Lycee)
4. 加多加多花生醬什菜沙律( fresh vege and tasty sauce)
5. 豬和雞肉串燒沙嗲 pork and chicken satay ( taste good , meat is tender)
6. rice wrap with soft shell crab and transparent glass noodle (nice because other food are salty)
7. pineapple 炒飯 ( normal standard)

They offer water for free now but you have to ask them to bring.

came here on a saturday night just before 7PM with reservations - we had our table immediately and was served (presumably fresh fried) prawn crackers. however there is an obvious lack of staff. we had to call 3 times before we were given a menu, and when we were ready to order it took them a few minutes to serve us.was fuming by the time we got our food - it took them at least 45 minutes to serve the first entree. had to wait between dishes too.we orderedsatay platter: the usual. spicy but not o

satay platter: the usual. spicy but not overly so. obviously coconut milk based marinade, can smell it. not awesome.

sou spicy seafood soup: for myself as seafood is my favorite protein source. prawns are fresh but i think they are slightly overcooked. they used a lot of calamari too. good blend of spices - can taste a hint of kefir lime leaves and lemongrass. broth itself was fresh and flavorfiul.

炒貴刁: this was good. wok-fried well, fresh; noodles were cooked just right before it was wok fried - think the texture of it is just right, with a slight chewiness.

seafood fried rice: not much seafood, a bit disappointing. standard fried rice. would be better if they used a bit more egg and some chives too.

蝦醬炒通菜: this was the star of the meal. flavor of prawn paste was just right - pungent enough but not offending. timing was good too - veggies not overcooked that it's limp but not raw.

staff was not efficient and very slow. when i asked for a refill for water i had to ask 4 times. this is the truth.

portion sizes are too small.

oh the bathrooms are disgusting. the pathway that leads to them smells of the sewer, probably is very near a sewer too. unhygeinic conditions.

will not go back again ever, even if it's someone's treat.

and i don't recommend it to anyone at all. not even to those i dislike

裝修前的確不太起眼,裝修後就真係眼前一亮。食過兩次,感覺都不錯。雖然未坐定就黎個hkd$18既蝦片就真係唔係好抵...不過裝修+環境都會令人條氣都順d...整體上覺得野食唔錯,份量ok相比銅鑼灣另一間印尼餐廳,依度既巴東牛肉較香較好味。送黃薑飯同椰香飯都好唔錯。不過作為印尼餐廳但係冇十五夜,就真係略欠正宗風味。

去耐冇去呢間印尼餐廳食飯﹝正確黎講,我之前幫襯佢都未改名叫1968﹞,印象中佢既食品質數都唔差。個日咁o岩路過,咪諗住去試吓囉。入到去都已經擔心”賴”野,因為最基本既小食都冇﹝燒魚蛋、糯米豬/雞、椰汁糕…..﹞。以為佢行高檔路線,唔買平野。咁咪叫左: 牛油 墨魚 ﹝難食爆,又韌又冇味。食完我仲要胃痛,仆住去買消化餅﹞炒貴刁 ﹝味道偏o炎)榔汁雞 ﹝冇咩特別﹞沙o爹 ﹝冇咩特別﹞價錢又唔係平,食物質數又差……..想再幫襯都難………………..

諗住宜家匯豐信用卡做緊主菜做緊買一送一,諗住同阿媽去試下~見阿媽未黎就睇住餐牌先啦~之後再諗住問清楚個waiter個優惠既詳情,佢話除左海鮮,其他既主菜都係買一送一,俾就俾貴個碟,送就送平個碟,咁其實好正常~好啦,亞媽黎到,諗好叫咩,諗住點一個沙嗲拼盤($128),就再叫一個印尼海鮮炒麵($98),最後我重不厭其煩問多次咁叫法可唔可以買一送一,唔知係咪個waiter 嫌我地叫得少啦,佢話個炒麵唔送得,因為有海鮮,呢個都算啦,之後佢話送個碟要係60蚊或以下喎!(但我第一字問佢個陣都無提過有價錢既限制)望下個menu, 其實都無咩係60蚊以下,當我地諗唔到叫咩既時候,個waiter suggested 我地可以叫炒貴刁($78)!咁即係點呢,你又只可以送60蚊以下既菜,宜家有突然話可以送78蚊既菜!?其實真係唔係錢既問題,但我覺得呢間野做生意好唔老實囉,所謂既condition係可以朝令夕改,鍾意的話隨時就可以改~最後都無幫襯就走左,大家去幫襯呢間野,而又諗住用信用卡優惠的話,真係要好小心!

We often go to this restaurant for Indonesian food, but our recent visit was a total disaster and we will never go back again!!!First, the food was not up to standard. The 鹽燒牛脷 didn't have any taste at all - no taste of ox tongue and even no taste of salt. The laksa with seafood (which cost us $98 + 10% service charge) was even worse. First, the food was not up to standard. The 鹽燒牛脷 didn't have any taste at all - no taste of ox tongue and even no taste of salt. The laksa with seafood (which cost us $98 + 10% service charge) was even worse. The soup was definitely not tasty and it was not thick enough. Besides, I had to say that every single piece of seafood (e.g. shrimp, squid etc.) inside the bowl was not fresh and appeared to be tasteless, 連少少鮮味都無!!!

We were also disgusted at the service we experienced that night. When we asked one of the waitresses to help us to divide the laksa into 2 small bowls, we were given all kinds of flimsy excuses and were told to do so ourselves.

Finally, the price has increased significantly after the recent renovation and in view of the poor quality of the food and the service, the place is definitely over-priced. Even more ridiculous, they 居然夠膽charged us $18 + 10% for the snacks (chips and cucumber slices) that we didn’t order and were simply put down on our table before our meal and I bet everyone would think that these were complimentary. What a RIP OFF!!!

Well, 一句講晒,, 別以為裝修完可以扮六星級酒店, 更別以為可以將D renovation costs 轉落D 客道. 長此下去, 等執啦!!!

This is the first time I try indonesian food with my friend.the taste and the presentation is very good.Most food is sweet and spicy.I ordered one " Rendang Beef",Curry Chicken"and "Chicken & Pork Satay"(One ladies staff highly recommened this)All food are excellent.Others,the customer service is very good .All staff is very kind to us.Alothough they dont serve water for guest,but I dont think this is a big problem for the guest.Because there have a lot of attactive special drink in menu to choo

Only a small problem that I discover is the ladies room is very dark.I hope they will impove it soon......
