Dinner. Not a big restaurant. Around 5 tables on the ground floor with a few more on the mezzanine floor. Here’s what we had. 迷你蝦多士. Thicker than the usual ones. 炸蝦醬骨. Crispy and tender. 菜膽杏汁燉豬肺湯. Good. 雞油花雕火腿絲蒸馬友- My favorite dish of the night. Very fragrant.茶香煙燻雞- very aromatic.馬蹄土魷蒸肉餅- tender and spongy. 薑蔥焗肉蟹煎腸粉. Not a fan of crab so I just took a few 腸粉. The gingery taste was too strong for me. Also, could be crispier.焗豬扒飯+煎雞蛋- There’s an interesting curry taste to the rice. 千層咕嚕肉- could be

千層咕嚕肉- could be crunchier.
椒鹽吊片- one of the best I have tried. Manageress came over and someone asked her what the difference was between 椒鹽鮮魷 and 椒鹽吊片. I was too busy drinking but think she said although there was a difference in reality, what we were having was in fact 鮮魷.
韭菜花銀魚小炒皇- disappointingly too spicy for me.
生炒糯米飯- texture could be a bit drier.
Manageress was having dinner with a friend on the table next to us. Her menu: clams, abalone and a massive plate of 鼓油王炒麵- which looked really yummy. Someone offered to swap a glass of our sake for a small bowl of noodles. Manageress graciously obliged. We all tried a strand. Really yummy indeed- no taste of 鹼水 at all.
Dessert: pumpkin sago 糖水.
In summary: enjoyable dinner. Good food, excellent service.
