There was a pop-up food truck sponsored by Hennessy  V.S.O.P. that appeared at the Fashion Walk area of Causeway Bay during the first two weekends of December. Fill in a survey and get a free cocktail from Hennessy and a little snack from Little Bao along with a bao at the Little Bao Diner.Always up for free booze and food, boyfriend and I filled in the survey. Always up for free booze and food, boyfriend and I filled in the survey. The cocktail was called Sunset Cocktail and was pretty good. Refreshing with a citrus taste. The small bite was  Little Bao Tostado. This was a small pita cracker topped with sea urchin and a few slices of abalone sashimi. Pretty delicious!

The cocktail was a sunset lime. The one here was a bit stronger as the Little Bao Diner bartender does a pretty good job. The bao used the Impossible meat. The vegan meat that is well ... meat free. I've never tried the Impossible meat so this was a first. I've tried the Beyond meat series and I guess it's what I have to compare it to. It's actually more moist with a meatier texture. They even mimic the medium rare of meat. That's insane. No wonder in a survey, more meat eaters preferred Impossible over Beyond. The bao was good, too. I love the fluffy white bun. There was a bit of pineapple that was marinated with some sichuan pepper. But it wasn't too spicy. Just a bit to taste but not enough to feel any serious heat. Pretty good. Lucky we ran into this pop-up.

相對嚟講覺得魚比較遜色,因為魚柳🐟本身味道比較淡,雖然肉質冇問題,但感覺始終冇其他肉類咁飽滿 😐 但依然要讚吓佢哋對於醬汁嘅執著👍,呢隻甜醬同沙律撞出嚟嘅味道都🌿好清新

香港人食一定會好自然諗起炸饅頭 😉 炸包包好脆口 🤤 冰火交融嘅效果好出色 😍 包啱啱炸起夾住已經軟化同溶緊嘅雪糕 😆 呢種滋味平時自己好難做~鐘意食甜嘢嘅話嗌後者一定啱,因為 salted caramel 真係好甜 🤗 抹茶味嘅反而比較踏實

little bao嘅signature就緊系佢個雪糕飽啦 佢個曼頭系即叫即整 所以上到枱嘅候仲系好熱 可能曼頭好熱關係所以佢系雪糕都比一般雪糕硬所以食起上尼都幾矛盾頭幾啖系食吾到嫁😅😅😅我無敏感牙齒都我啲牙都覺得軟系好食嘅系值得試嘅 因為我吾雪糕fans所以一次夠啦

Little Bao是我一直想去而未去的店子,但它在中環的店子只開晚市(偏偏是我工作最忙的時段),得知它在銅鑼灣開了新分店並提供午市,終去嘗嘗。新店位於銅鑼灣近維園較寧靜的一邊,但位置都算易找。店子光猛,設計有點像美國的diner。此店的主廚曾獲亞洲最佳女廚獎,食物以創意fusion為主,其中像台灣刈包般的bao是招牌菜,晚市主力散叫,但午市有set便宜不少。這次差不多午市近結束的時段去到,冇乜人,叫了一個包括1 bao 1 side 1 share 1 drink的lunch set。主菜嘗了招牌pork belly bao,外表像白色的漢堡,但更像台灣的刈包。白色的饅頭很鬆軟有彈性,中間的豬腩肉肥美且有煎過,挺香口。包內配有葱、黃瓜及洋蔥等的料,汁醬像調過的茄汁,也好像有點麻醬,做法是中西合璧,不太酸,整體平衡度很好。平心而論,整個豬腩肉包是美味的,但這程度的fusion,對我這個常去台灣吃刈包的人卻談不上驚喜,因為我未吃都估到味道大概是那樣,不會有外國人那種未見過而驚艷的感覺。side dish要了涼拌秋葵,秋葵夠爽身,加入些芝麻汁,儘管汁多了一點,但尙算怡人。我最喜歡是那個sh

我最喜歡是那個share中所選的凍炸雞子薑沙律,雖然大體上像家鄉雞的雞粒伴菜絲沙律,但感覺好fresh且沒油膩感,用子薑令味道變化了屬神來之筆,有點像不辣的泰菜,尤似青木瓜沙律。

一直以黎都好想試Little Bao 最近係causeway bay 開左, 就去左試一試佢.果然眾望所歸係一間唔會令人失望的餐廳叫左個 pork belly bao, 真係好好食到不得了,兩大件入味肥豬肉勁香口,加埋個醫汁🤤🤤🤤真係唔洗多講. Truffle fries 都係必食, 係真係有truffle 香嘅薯條, 唔係出面個d是但俾個truffle醬你點就叫truffle fries. Brussels sprouts 都係我最愛, 不過味道係偏甜的~ 總括黎講係會再去

点了一个招牌包,一个素包,一个small share(松露薯条),然后两个甜品。都好赞,特别是松露薯条,滋味搭配绝妙,一口薯条下去松露香味扑鼻,是难得的享受。甜品的做法也是中西结合到非常巧妙。总之这顿吃的很开心,一边暗搓搓觉得热量高一边大呼过瘾。店员服务也很认真,每次水喝到将尽都有主动过来加。店里面的灯光也很舒适,餐具色彩搭配的素雅简洁,很好让人注意力集中在食物上,但又不会过度地太简单而导致缺乏时尚感。希望有机会再去~

I went there last sat around 3pm before its pfficial grand openin. Even though it’s tea time and to my surprise it was still half-full. I saw the owner May Chow serving each table very friendly and asked for comments. We ordered druken clams, two baos, truffle fried and fried sandwich which resulted in around $200 each person. The food is still very delicious and fresh! My fav dish is drunken clams, which you cannot miss! And it is more spacious and provides a bigger menu with more options. Defi

But Little Bao is the restaurant she is best known for and now it has a second branch. In Causeway Bay's Fashion Walk area. It's found right behind Tian Tian Hainan Chicken. It's larger than the Sheung Wan location.  With more tables and even an outdoor eating area. Another difference is that it's open for lunch and dinner as opposed to the Sheung Wan branch that is only open at night.


I arrived for lunch and it was already very full. But they were able to sit me at the bar. Lunch time has a lunch set menu. For $118, you get a share, side, bao and drink. Menu is in English and Chinese. Most of the staff speak English only.

I chose the lemonade as my drink. It was actually lemon juice with soda water. Which clearly wasn't what I was expecting and not what I call lemonade.

This is the Korean glass noodles. This was ok. Regular Korean glass noodles with bits of pomelo and flavored with yuzu. It was refreshing and light.

My side was a sesame okra. I wasn't too thrilled with this. The sesame was a bit too much and made the thing a bit too salty. The okra was crunchy which I did like.

I ordered the pork belly bao. This is the only thing I loved in the entire set lunch. It's no wonder this place is famous for the bao. The bun was soft and fluffy. Sweet and lovely in every bite. The pork belly was tender and literally fell apart. This was all topped with slices of pickled onions an cucumbers. This was fabulous.

The service was ok. Food came out quickly. Though I did note that the people next to me weren't served anything even though they had arrived far earlier than me. The only really good thing was the bao. Everything else was a bit meh and definitely one can skip. I will be back but I think I'd only stick to ordering a bao and nothing else.

好好食呀 😋 呢間本來係中環開咗好耐我都無去過。而家銅鑼灣開係fashion walk 附近,仲係一間proper 餐廳,坐得舒舒服服招牌豬腩包 同酒煮大蜆真係必食! 好正! $138 下次返黎一定會encore! 個飽雖然唔係好大 不過加埋個蜆,再食個甜品都夠哂飽 😋 啲蜆好新鮮,好大隻,仲粒粒都開,粒粒都有肉架甜品叫咗雪糕包,個包好脆,有啲似平時點煉奶個啲饅頭,加埋中間嘅抹茶雪糕 🍦又幾特別喎。個飽好細,不過呢個甜品,我自己就覺得食一半都夠啦

好好食呀 😋 呢間本來係中環開咗好耐我都無去過。而家銅鑼灣開係fashion walk 附近,仲係一間proper 餐廳,坐得舒舒服服

招牌豬腩包 同酒煮大蜆真係必食! 好正! $138
下次返黎一定會encore! 個飽雖然唔係好大 不過加埋個蜆,再食個甜品都夠哂飽 😋 啲蜆好新鮮,好大隻,仲粒粒都開,粒粒都有肉架

甜品叫咗雪糕包,個包好脆,有啲似平時點煉奶個啲饅頭,加埋中間嘅抹茶雪糕 🍦又幾特別喎。個飽好細,不過呢個甜品,我自己就覺得食一半都夠啦

Bad experience overall 1/ bad service 2/ waiting a chicken burger for over 20 mins 3/ taste just so so...actually quite bad 4/ ordered a lemonade without ice for $55 dollars only half content and taste not great 5/ just disappointing overall Don’t think want to come again....

好有驚喜既fusion 菜,味道好特別,食得出廚師既心機,菜式集合左中西既元素,賣相精緻。甜品都係個包,上下似炸饅頭,中間係雪糕,好攪鬼,試左海鹽味,好好食。餐廳服務又好,一定會再食

上星期日去咗銅鑼灣新店,新店地方大,坐得舒服。未到12點去到由於時間尚早,所以冇乜人,坐咗大約半個鐘已經冇乜位了。試咗招牌豬腩包,三黃雞包,豆豉鯪魚沙律,墨西哥炸雲吞。兩個包係用中式饅頭嗰啲包做,好鬆軟好味,招牌豬腩包好食意料中事, 估唔到三黃雞包配黑醋汁都好正,雞好冧,炸雲吞好脆仲有我鐘意嘅菠蘿,不過豆豉鯪魚沙律咸左D,冇乜豆豉鯪魚味。另外可惜只有水及酒精類飲品提供,中午真係唔習慣飲酒,如果有咖啡飲就最好。我一定會再嚟試其他野。

Disappointed at the arrogance and low emotional intelligence of the staff. We tried to get in for dinner but was told our names were not on the list. At least they could show some hospitality which we don’t mind paying for.In the end it is just a burger place not Mandarin Oriental Two Michelin Starred Restaurant.
