Came here around 2 months ago for lunch, after finding out that they are a distributor for 幸福牛 Wagyu in Hong Kong and also is suppose to sell 仙台 food, which is where a few of my close friends live and also where Mr Sodeyama from 湖舟 in the same building comes from, coincidentally!The great thing around the Menu is that they have around 4-5 Wagyu options. Grilled 幸福牛 Wagyu Set - Around $99 from memory? The Beef cut was not announced to me but I 'guess' its from the hind legs area due to the flavour profile? It actually had some marbling and wagyu fat taste and also meat taste. It was initially tender enough but as it got cooler, became a bit tougher. I thought the beef part served on the sizzling hotplate was good. Unfortunately this was let down a bit by the very Westernised spaghettis, bean sprouts and frozen vegetables, not unlike a 花園餐廳 experience.
I think this was value for money nevertheless. Came with Starter, Soup, Rice, Sorbet too. Decent lunch.
Set 2:
A Fried Minced Pork with Grated Radish and Shallots - Around $68. This was actually quite good, as the pork was pre-minced first and then deep-fried in batter, so it doesn't suffer from tenderness issues normally associated with Tonkatsu being too tough. In fact I have never seen this dish before in a Hong Kong restaurant, I wonder if anyone else serves this? It wasn't overly oily but it did soak up a fair bit of it. The sides suffered same problem as above dish, with overly peppery spaghetti but this time came with some shredded salads.
Again, the core Pork dish was better than the sides.
Set 3:
A $98 Sushi set lunch (photo corrupted, unfortunately). I requested Salmon to be removed today as I caught glimpse of it being put on the sushi plate, since I wanted to try what they have available usually.
Because my photo isn't there anymore, I can only recall it having a piece of Scallop, Aji, Saba with Ginger/Spring Onion, Tai, Hamachi, Tuna, Salmon Roe, Tekka Maki (Tuna), 2 halves of Eggs, etc. In the ADVERTISING PHOTO underneath infront of the lifts, the $98 has 13 pieces of nigiri sushis but in real life, you only get around 8-9. I thought this was a little bit mis-advertised but for $98 can't complain? Perhaps they could as honest businessmen, change this and make it clearer for the customers.
On the bright side, the fish selection was better than I had expected from a lunch set. However, the fish quality at lunch was barely acceptably fresh today, it didn't look like what the previous reviewer's photos look like (but then again, she/he takes the best photos ever ) . Some fishes were slightly fishy.

Service was top notch and attentive, tea were refilled constantly. When we left, one of the Japanese chefs from the kitchen having lunch said goodbye to us. The Sushi Counter chef on this occasion however is from Hong Kong.
We didn't think this lunch was impressive in any way, but it was definitely interesting and above-average. For the price, you cannot complain plus I like how one can choose from so many Wagyu options, even if its a bit heavy for lunch. Just wish they introduce better menu items, better 'sides' in the main courses and somehow give some fresher fish for the sushi's, then - it will rate very highly.
