每個星期日必需到旺角附近工作,附近食店早餐都食了多次味道更好都會另人有厭倦的感覺。特意早二十分鐘去附近搵搵仲有無新野食,結果見到紅螞蟻的餐牌,有一個炒腸粉吸引我入店。火腿白菌雞蛋炒腸粉 + 意大利咖啡(即係鮮奶咖啡)腸粉其實半煎帶點微焦夠香脆, 再加上豐富火腿絲, 磨姑及雞蛋炒, 估唔到比起茶樓既炒腸粉更豐富更好味.意大利咖啡味道芳香濃郁, 牛奶打成既泡沫更令整杯咖啡更幼滑

腸粉其實半煎帶點微焦夠香脆, 再加上豐富火腿絲, 磨姑及雞蛋炒, 估唔到比起茶樓既炒腸粉更豐富更好味.

今日番完通宵,諗住一個人靜靜地嘆個早餐,所以去咗紅螞蟻,貪佢冇茶餐廳咁噪!點知超不愉快!入到去已經冇人招呼,都算喇!自行搵個位坐底,想叫嘢食,啲侍應全情投入傾計!叫佢哋都聽唔到!良久先有人應(女性,身型略胖,戴白色膠架眼鏡,長直髮),佢重覆一次我個order, 係錯嘅!明顯發緊夢!落完order之後我同佢講"張chair濕咗,可唔可以幫我抹一抹",呢位高貴的小姐應都冇應就行咗去!其後,黑口黑面攞咗"一"大張紙巾過嚟,輕輕掃咗"一"大吓咁大把就行咗去!相信我嘅要求都唔係好過份啫!食個早餐都要咁受氣!原本諗住埋單時投訴佢,不過我都費事動氣免得影響心情!請到呢啲不知所謂嘅侍應真係幾生修到!祝呢間鋪生意興隆,自求多福!

今天下午約了朋友去魚街買東西,之後唸住去午飯,但見周圍都冇乜野食,就行遠一點.見倒間紅螞蟻好似唔錯,而且有枱不用等.就入去食. 一坐底.見倒午餐牌已經發覺唔知食乜好.餐牌食物名好奇怪,好似好有特色.選了這個照燒牛脷鮮冬菇茄子飯, 一上枱見倒兩片牛脷已反胃了,又厚,賣相又不好,好似真係食脷甘.食了一啖,怪怪味已無再食. 還有d茄子根本煮唔熟,又乾又硬...難食.另外叫了碟葡式焗原隻雞肶扒配飯, d飯唔熱,個雞肶扒食得出係雪藏雞肶.非常難吃. 唔怪之得看不見别的枱點這兩道飯.只有這杯凍OT還可以接受,但相比茶餐廳,當然冇得比.沒下次.

選了這個照燒牛脷鮮冬菇茄子飯, 一上枱見倒兩片牛脷已反胃了,又厚,賣相又不好,好似真係食脷甘.食了一啖,怪怪味已無再食. 還有d茄子根本煮唔熟,又乾又硬...難食.

I have heard of Red Ant before but I thought they offer food like Eurogogo: quick, readily-made western sets, it was a pleasant surprise to find the range of different styles of food available. A decent setting but there were this group of teenagers chatting quite loudly and a few families with children, so won't really recommend couples spending time there.I enjoyed reading their menu as it was nicely printed and colourful, the proportion of photos to dishes was comparatively higher than avera

Without having read any of its food reviews beforehand, I was attracted by the self mix-and-match noodles and chose 髮絲麵 with 椰香海鮮辣湯 and 豬頸肉. Amazing, it is among one of the top preferences. It was said that the 髮絲麵 was home-made. I found it a bit too soft, it was really thin as well, couldn't absorb much flavour from the soup nor provide a gratifying texture.
The soup on the other hand was better, it was normal to have anticipated a sweet aroma of coconut and a refreshing spice from the description of the soup and that was more or less what was delivered.
The level of MSG was acceptable as I didn't have to drink in cups of water when I got home. Not going to compare pork's neck meat with those from Thai restaurants, so I'll just say it was average. Not too roasted, quite tender. The lettuce, though, tasted a bit bitter

Dad wanted a dish with lamb steak originally but after about 5 mins, they came to tell us that it was sold out..so he asked the waiter for a suggestion and chose the 牛魔王焗飯. The English translation is Baked Rice with Short Rib & Beef Brisket in Black Pepper Sauce. The delivery of this dish was unexpected. Sadly, negatively. I wondered how the cream cheese came its way to this dish. Black pepper was used in seasoning but definitely not a sauce. After screening other food reviews which one of them in fact contained a photo of this dish, I'm positive that they made the wrong order. Oh well, dad did not complain. However, he did comment that he had never eaten that much parts of a cow in a single dish. Besides short rib and beef brisket, there were beef tendon, beef shoulder chops. Not a bad comment, but disappointingly, all parts were overcooked and could be seen with bare eyes directly without trying them.

We asked for a set to come with our main course and we could choose to have a salad/soup plus a drink. I had the 吞拿魚薯仔沙律配牛油果醬while dad had a 雜菜湯. The soup was a bit too oily while the salad a bit too sweet, I was quite surprise to see shrimps in the salad

A meal is never complete without something sweet. My dad wasn't into anything so I just ordered a ginger souffle. It was bracketed to be a 2-person share but nonetheless I finished it entirely myself.

It didn't come as a perfect dome shape(was it because I ordered less sweet so less sugar used? advice needed from someone who knows baking) but the light brown colour was satisfactory. It had a strong scent of egg and quite bouncy when poked with folk. However, once I broke into the souffle, it was quite obvious that it deflated without the support of the container. The outer layer could also be separated. The inner part was somewhat fluffy but there was tiny bit of egg not well mixed and solid pieces felt. The ginger flavour was too subtle as well.

Wanted a quick dinner with dad so just went straight into the restaurant next to where our car was parked, however my 椰汁雪花糕紅豆沙 took about 10mins to prepare before delivering to us. We forgot about the drinks so ordered them towards the end of the meal..

I was lighten up a bit when I first saw the drink after waiting for such a long time(our table was all cleared by the time it got to us) as the ice was crushed to blend in with the coconut milk. Not too sweet but definitely high calories consumed. I don't really know how to describe the texture of 雪花糕, it's some kind of agar i guess, quite mushy instead of chewy so not really my type
The red beans wasn't those big fat ones of course, so not a big deal. However, it was quite disappointing that they paired the drink with such an ordinary sized straw as it was impossible to drink smoothly without having to "clear" the bottom of the straw while drinking. Not hard at all to get those fat straws with a larger diameter. The red bean and agar just happened to stuck its way all the time.
Not too special, should spend the calories quota elsewhere!

The overall pricing was reasonable, I guess it was our fault since we were hurrying so didn't quite bother to check the price and worthiness of the additions so came up to a bill of $266 as a result. Not too worthy for a meal of this quality.
p.s. 唔記得check單, 計多左個餐湯=$28+10%=$30.8

今次係第一次到紅螞蟻食下午茶,我自己比較喜歡食小食,而餐牌上大部份款式都係湯麵,最後我選擇咗日式雞翼拼洋蔥圈。由於身型問題,我本身係食量好細嘅人,但係當侍應送餐上枱時,我真係俾個份量嚇親,只有三隻細中翼加三個大一個細嘅洋蔥圈!坦白講我真係覺得好似冇食過嘢咁,味道亦相當一般,連埋餐飲嗰杯熱檸水,承惠三十三大元!大家又認為值唔值?

果晚媽咪無煮飯, 去探完婆婆後, 係旺角是但搵地方食嘢. 因為好耐無食過紅螞蟻, 於是就搵咗呢間...佢有啲二人套餐, 好似幾抵食, 於是揀咗個最抵食嘅… Order 咗:芝士銀雪魚焗釀冬菇芝士咖哩牛柳條飯芝士白汁煙三文魚時蔬天使麵咖啡或茶Total: HK$158.00 + 10% = HK$173.80首先嚟咗芝士銀雪魚焗釀冬菇. 嘩! 難食到呢, 可以三樣嘢完全配合唔到, 好似將一堆芝士粉、一堆銀雪魚碎加一個冬菇放咗入個口度. 芝士係拉唔開果隻, 銀雪魚乾爭爭咁. 咬咗一啖, 發現有嘢係芝士裏面. 即刻叫個待應埋嚟, 換過俾我, 我要求轉其他嘢, 叫咗炸魷魚鬚.之後, 嚟咗芝士咖哩牛柳條飯, 明明記得餐牌寫住係焗飯, 點知係白飯另上. 啲白色汁就係芝士, 但無芝士味喎. 咖喱又唔夠咸, 無晒啲濃、香嘅咖哩味. 跟住上咗芝士白汁煙三文魚時蔬天使麵, 我以為煙三文魚係好似buffet果啲, 點知係熟嘅. 不過好在都算多三文魚, 不過都係好淡. 最後, replace 芝士銀雪魚焗釀冬菇嘅炸魷魚鬚嚟咗, 最 ok 呢個, 不過好吸油呀… 其實佢嘅下午茶餐係比較

最近少吃早餐,這天難得早起到旺角,路經這裡,先來這裡吃過早餐才再繼續行程。這裡的早餐收費其實比一般的茶餐廳稍貴,但質素不見得特別好,只是早餐的款式比一般的茶餐廳多一點,也有一些比較特別的早餐,好似三文魚炒蛋等,可以給客人多些選擇而已。這天吃的是「德國腸、煙肉、煎雙蛋、蒜蓉多士」早餐,不過自己因為不想太熱氣而改了要方包。這個早餐其實分量不太多,而且味道也只是一般而已。比較好味的已是切成片狀的德國腸;煎太陽蛋雖然還算及格,但沒有燶邊;煙肉就乾了一點,不甚好吃;方包亦不太有蒜蓉味。整體來說,這早餐的質素只是普普通通而已,幸好餐凍奶茶味道尚佳,不會過甜或太淡,而且這餐廳可能因為價錢比附近的茶餐廳貴一點的關係,早上沒太多人光顧,所以來這兒一邊吃早餐,一邊看報紙,環境都頗為寧靜呢!

After finishing a rousing game of badminton, my friends (I will call them DnA) and I were hungry. So we made our way to Red Ant. Where my other friend SnoCar ditched us, but whatever! j/p. We've been there a few times and it's good, warm down food. Western style clay pot which is basically Chinese soul food in my opinion. Anyways, for English speakers their is a fully translated menu ... so no worries on that front. So we settle in to our booth seat which is ample room for the 3 of us and a bunc

Anyways, for English speakers their is a fully translated menu ... so no worries on that front.

So we settle in to our booth seat which is ample room for the 3 of us and a bunch of badminton bags and gear. Not our first time so we know we have to wave our hands like we our drowning to get attention. Anyways, we order and the waiter takes the order and READS BACK the order to us, so after that we continue talking.

We get our drinks and lukewarm soup which is especially "salty" which was the first comment A said when she tasted the soup and is only bearable if you add Tabasco sauce, so it taste like a poor man's Tum Yum soup. Also my drink was a bit on the sweet-side, but my fault for not asking for less sweet on the onset.

Then DnA get their meals first which is the usual, since I for some reason almost always seem to get my meal last. So they ordered a beef with black pepper sauce and some other forgettable ingredients clay pot. They though it was decent enough.

After waiting for like 10 min and now basically DnA were more than half done, we flagged down one of the many waiters that seem to be playing hide and seek with us.
We tell the waiter to help us check on the food and she nonchalantly goes to review the bill and tell us that we didn't order a second meal. Instantly DnA are like WTF, we told her that I already got my soup and drink and also the waiter read it back to us. Then she goes to yell at the waiter who took our order and they take about 5 min to confirm and then tell us they have fixed the order and it will take another 5 min for the food to be read.

No apology and they were both laughing about the mistake among themselves... again WTF and 10 min later
we had to flag yet another hide and seek waiter who only popped out to get tissue for non-existence customers since it was late. Anyways, we again ask him to follow up and then he goes off and comes back and he was about to tell us " the rice takes time to co o k" when another waiter comes and has my rice. So now it was obvious when he went to check, he didn't or he would of known my rice was pretty much ready. Anyways, D told him why are you try BS us and he didn't have anything to say and ducked out, quick style.

Anyways my clay pot rice with chicken and some kind of white sauce was pretty taste and the chicken was cooked well. I didn't want DnA to wait too long so I just basically scarfed it down and was disappointed I didn't really get to enjoy it.

I've been their 3 times and this was the worst and even at it's best it's still hard to catch a waiter, even though they have what seems to be an army in there. They are just exceptionally good hide and seek players, I wouldn't want to play paintball against them.

Food is good though and that is why I didn't mind pretending I am drowning, but this was an especially bad service day, but I am going to factor in the 3 times I went in my rating. 3 is pass/ good if I am around that area I will consider it, but wouldn't purposely seek it out.

琴日去呢間野度食晏。入到去睇埋餐牌先覺唔太啱食無計啦,都坐低。於是叫了個白汁焗海鮮意粉 + 西瓜汁 $44。簡直係唔抵食!同茶記水準無分別,但就收咁嘅價錢。份量ok,夠食,有魚塊、魷魚仔、青口同蝦。意粉較幼身,但唔夠彈牙,又黐埋一舊舊。白汁好杰,好漏。味道好一般,無特別。杯西瓜汁又係好淡,好natural。

永遠我地食野都係多過人既,佢兩位既枱超逼,除非真係每人叫一個茶餐,否則想將所有野食放得落張枱度都幾難。我地正煩惱佢D野唔知點上枱之際,一個髮型男WAITER好有見地,主動問我地轉唔轉卡位,好多謝佢既專業態度,好NICE。當然以我地食野既份量,卡位都係剛剛好放得落晒架咋,不過佢有先見之名,我好欣賞佢喎。仲主動REFILL熱茶,服務幾良好。但呢個只講緊係個髮型男,因為女既都黑口黑面的。講野食野,我地叫左個二人餐,都有幾多野揀既,小食揀一款,主菜揀兩款。小食我地揀左炸豬大腸。夠脆夠乾淨,味道唔錯。主菜我地點了焗豬扒飯,茄汁比較酸,但我個人好喜歡呢種汁,因為好開胃,但怕酸既人可能唔多0岩,但佢有芝士面,焗得真係好味。另一個主菜點了豬頸肉飯。呢個我個人唔太鍾意食,其實豬頸肉本身都好軟得黎爽,都幾好味,可惜配落個飯度好似格格不入,個飯根本冇融合豬頸肉既味道。唯有係講豬有豬味,飯有飯味啦!令外加廿蚊可以叫一蝶櫻蝦豆腐,呢個係令人失望既選擇,一點都唔覺得好味。我地淨番一件食唔晒添。我地另加一蝶雞翼,呢款小食算係不過不失啦。總括黎講,由於我喜歡髮型男既服務態度,同埋豬扒飯,我都係覺得呢度係值得去既地方,

平時最愛叫黑椒牛仔骨焗飯夠入味,雞翼和大腸炸得好香口美味,估唔到呢到除o左招牌焗飯小食之餘,甜品做得都相當出色,賣相不錯價錢都不貴,超級推介"心太軟"($28超值),味道o岩o岩好切一小口朱古力已流出來了,大家不妨去試下啦!
