I love the food here because it is affordable.Most people don't know but they have been serving curry fishballs since 2016.I have forgotten how they taste so went back for them.The Curry Turnip and Fishballs cost $38 and you get a fair amount of radish and fishballs and the turnip was soft and full of curry flavour unlike some places where the turnip is not even cooked and tasteless.If you like Chiuchow style white fishballs and squidballs, the texture is similar but much softer like marshmallow with a fishy taste.Will come back for their other new dishes which I haven't tried.

湾仔街市附近小店很多,各种菜系都有,但大多都环境,服务很差,这家素菜馆算是闹市中的一块绿洲了,装修一溜的绿色系,感觉很舒服。下午茶时间来点了一杯咖啡,一份美式焗薯皮,咖啡还是挺好喝的,焗薯皮个人觉得一般般,店内环境还是很好的,用餐体验不错。上菜速度挺快的,服务还可以吧。

While I went in wanting to try their wraps or non-Chinese food, ended up ordering mapo tofu. They explicitly used the term Sichuan and the person taking my order warned me of it being very spicy.Imagine my disappointment when it didn't look spicy. And the Sichuan fiery taste - far from it. On asking for any spicy sauce, she led me to their black pepper powder on the counter. And tabasco!The tofu was good and the rice, well cooked, hearty grains separated yet that slight stickiness to each other. But, that Sichuan spicy mapo tofu, nope. 在附近處理完事情剛到飯點,於是就搜尋附近有甚麼吸引的素食店,見此店食物吸引而且近在眼前就進去一試。店內外裝修清新整潔明亮,室內溫度適中沒有食物混合的古怪氣味。午餐配湯只需加9元,挺優惠的。我選了牛蒡雪耳茶樹菇栗子湯,份量不少而且香甜味濃,十分推薦! 咖喱薯仔雞飯味道可以,不過個人覺得不夠熱,喜歡食更熱辣辣的。 我覺得素雞的口感和味道更似牛/羊肉。

曾經的青春,總是讓人眷戀,我們再不能像之前一樣任意揮霍光陰,要學懂呵護自己,每天保持著健康的身體。不知道是天氣的關係,還是心情的影響,吃素的日子越來越多,最近又發現灣仔一間素食小店,真好!由灣仔玩具街直行再轉右,有一條小巷名叫麥加力歌街,這裏開了幾間小餐廳,其中一間名叫素食主意,顧名思義這裏最出名的是素菜意粉。門口鋪滿了綠油油的裝飾,小店面積不算大,只有六張四人枱,餐廳主色用了白色的餐枱和綠色的圓凳,還有綠油油的招牌,感覺置身於草原吃着晚餐。看着手寫的大餐牌非常吸引,包括有小食,沙律,湯類,意粉,飯,土耳其卷,甜品及飲品可供選擇,價錢由$35至$68不等。凡於中午11:30至下午2:30,可加$9享用湯或者半價購買飲品。最後我們點了一份福建燴飯$50,白汁菠菜粟米意粉$52,欖菜素肉鬆四季豆飯$48,飲品桂圓紅棗茶$14,凍美式檸檬水$14,南瓜湯$25,牛蒡雪耳茶樹菇栗子湯$25,紐約芝士蛋糕$28。首先桂圓紅棗茶和凍美式檸檬水先上枱,桂圓紅棗茶只是簡單用茶包沖泡,味道不算香濃,不太吸引;反而凍飲美式檸檬水簡單入味,清涼解渴。南瓜湯和牛蒡雪耳茶樹菇栗子湯亦上枱,口感順滑的南瓜湯,非常香甜可口;而牛蒡雪耳茶樹菇栗子湯則香濃美味,牛蒡,紅蘿蔔,南北杏,茶樹菇和栗子的味道平分秋色,明顯真材實料。色彩繽紛的福建燴飯,材料包括素蟹柳,翠玉瓜粒,紅蘿蔔粒,蘑菇粒,粟米粒,配合素蠔油炒香,可惜白飯太硬,獻汁也太少,不太吸引。非常足料的欖菜素肉鬆四季豆飯,四季豆新鮮爽口,再配合野味的欖菜和素肉鬆炒香,簡直是無懈可擊;可惜是糙米飯口感同樣偏硬,令整體吸引力下降。最吸引著我的,一定是這份白汁菠菜粟米意粉,意粉軟硬適中,口感彈牙;粟米夠爽口;菠菜新鮮嫩綠;而白汁味道特別,有點Wasabi感覺但又不辣,完全吸引着我的味蕾,而且份量飽肚,物超所值。最後當然少不了到甜品時間,這件紐約芝士蛋糕雖沒有酒店的水準,也不及甜品店的新鮮製造,但仍有香濃的芝士味道,值得一試。慢慢享受着這份晚餐,就讓這一刻繼續為人生留下美好的一頁。寵愛自己才是最重要,你明白嗎?
