I always like the authentic homemade flavor of Mi Dam. It’s different from those chain stores and popular IG shops. I feel soothing every time eating at Mi Dam. The current location brings quite a number of restraints to the restaurant, say smaller kitchen size, fewer seatings and choices of dish. I understand that all these makes it a hurdle to maintain the quality it used to have. But the very recent visit really makes me feel rather sad.
I ordered L17, 砂鍋牛肉湯飯, which I remembered it used to be a full bowl of beef in rich flavored sweet soup. But now it is a rather clear soup with a few slices of beef and rice cake, and some veggies. It still tastes good but no longer gives that satisfaction. I don’t mind paying at a higher price, if that helps with maintaining the good quality as before. And actually, one of the staff is quite impolite, and if I am not mistaken, she orders 사장님 to deal with the Korean customers.
