Attended the venue a little over a month ago with guests from overseas. Completely overrated and bad service by staff and restaurant management, this place is an embarrassment to all eateries in this country. Service - As soon as we sat down, we were forced to hurriedly select our main dishes despite not even having had to time to peruse the menu. But then again, there is nothing particularly special on the menu to peruse because I asked for a dish to be slightly amended, and was met with staunch resistance. The initial waitress who served clearly had an attitude problem, which everyone on the table felt. When I informed her that we had not even had time to properly review the menu to select the main dishes, she threw open a menu and started stabbing at each of the items in an attempt to highlight what we should and should not eat.Food - see paragraph above. I asked for a dish to be slightly amended, which was apparently impossible despite the fact that both ingredients were on the menu and the ingredients i asked for were not scarce. Further, an additional entrée which we did not order was given to us accidently, which we decided to accept to keep the peace given the waitress was rude and aggressive. The most disappointing thing was the feedback from the restaurant manager: they did not address the crux of the issues raised, nor did they apologise for the lack-lustre service. For a “well established” restaurant, they certainly did not live up to the expectation. Take your friends and money elsewhere, there are plenty of other places that actually understands how to serve like a proper restaurant.

Quite good environment, good service, and the knowledge of staff about the ingredients of food is impressive. We were talking about what kind of vegetable we were chewing (turns out to be root of the famous TAiwanese Yau Mak Choi) and the waitress was able to tell us in detail voluntarily as we were discussing.Taste really not bad. We ordered a bowl of spicy shrimp - quite good

This was my tenth or so visit to the establishment. I ate the asparagus with sesame and the spicy snapper fillet for appetizer and then went on to eat their slow cooked rack of lamb and a veal shank. We had a petit chablis to make sure we do not go thirsty.I agree with many of the reviews that this is not 100% authentic and it is not what the herders used to eat 100 years ago in Yunan. It is not home cooking and feels a little bit like Chinese cuisine for New York. It is true that it is not cheapBut who cares really because the food is good, the service is good and the ambiance will never disappoint any guest from out of town. I was going back again with a guest from Shanghai who enjoyed the food and the atmosphere: it never fails to work (and the slow cooked rack of lamb is really good)

女朋友們為補祝我既生日,最終選擇左雲府食飯,主要係我想見識下呢間食肆,應該話叫參觀下呢間食肆至真。因為平日經過,佢門外既裝修有一份神秘感,好似好吸引,所以好想入去睇下,不過要女朋友們破費,認真唔好意思!一踏入門口,擺設左類似敦煌既小佛像,女友已大喊要影相,跟著燈光昏暗,沿著樓梯往下,小心地落到地庫,左手邊係一個中國式圓形酒吧,而右手邊就係一間一間充滿中國風既房間,一直前行,就係食飯既大廳。大廳中央放左一個差不多頂到天花既大佛像,另外所有既枱椅、燈、櫃等擺設全部都係好中國,大部份枱、椅都係唔一樣,睇得出係一絲不苟既心思之作。至於其他方面,等有興趣既食客親自感受一下。餐牌大部份飲品同食品都用左比較詩意既名,當時忘記特別要記低,而家當然唔記得啦,唯有簡單形容。 兩杯無酒精荔枝味既雞尾酒,另一杯係有酒精既,味道都唔錯,不過就無歡樂時光既買一送一同特價喇! 雞卷:外皮脆脆,味道都唔錯! 雲吞:女友話味道唔錯,但我就覺得普普通通! 京燒羊肉:侍應一放低,已聞到陣陣香味。羊肉切到小長方塊,皮做得脆口,而肉質又好嫩好Juicy。羊味唔太濃,啱曬我既口味,羊塊下有切得幼幼既京葱,用京葱夾上羊肉塊一齊食,異常香口,羊味更突出,係全晚最出色既菜,正! 四川辣子雞:見到好多四川辣椒,但味道完全無四川既麻辣,只有好輕微既辣味。雞塊炸得乾身,無汁,跟傳統煮法既四川雞有好大分別但差在超鹹,只食左兩塊,已經唔能夠再食落去。 擔擔麵:味道普通,麵太 "淋",無特別。 馬蹄糕:外面有一層脆皮,呢個係我唔鐘意既地方,因為感覺比較膩。而馬蹄糕本身則欠馬蹄香味,亦食唔到馬蹄粒粒,唯一可取係唔太甜。可能本身唔係甜品愛好者,而女朋友們就覺得ok,全碟清曬!當晚星期五食餐時段只有4枱(包括我地一枱),其他3枱都係外籍朋友。食物質素普通,係預期中既食裝修。叫做黎過、試過,ok 啦!不過相信是晚消費唔平,朋友們要您地破費破費喇!

**唔記得左submit呢個食評,係halloween時影的**是日同朋友去蘭桂芳玩,行到累,去左雲府入面坐底飲杯野入面的裝修好有中國客棧feel,個個都扮晒鬼好正 = ]Order左杯名叫trick or treat的野飲,冇酒精的,飲落有d椰子,橙汁,蘋果汁既味,味道唔錯~~~加埋個裝修,$68一杯野飲真係好抵~~~ = ]
