McDonald's has a new series of McNugget sauces so boyfriend and I are here to try them out.The four sauces can be ordered in one go with a 18 nuggets set. This is served in a nicely designed bus. The sauces are placed in a box that look like a series of vending machines. We got it with a set so it cost $45.We all know what the nuggets look like and pretty much how they taste like. We all know what the nuggets look like and pretty much how they taste like. So, I won't get into it. But it's nice the box at least looks full.
The four sauces include two returning ones: sesame miso and honey mustard. Korean sweet and sour and Japanese style sweet curry are the two new ones. The honey mustard was a sauce that I felt was always pretty good and glad it's back. They seemed to have improved the taste from last time. the sesame miso was odd and tasted more like tahini. The Korean sweet and sour sauce was the best from the new sauces. It taste like the sauce you get for Korean fried chicken and was not too spicy. The worst, in my opinion, was the Japanese style sweet curry. It was weird. It tasted like curry but was far too sweet. And it was so thick, it had a glue-like consistency.
Unsure if I'd order it again as the sauces didn't really amaze me enough for a repeat purchase.
